Another great video. I must admit I'm bit old school and do the older swing arm take overs in relays but will try some of these out next time we do practice dives. It's such a shame my training pool has old blocks with no wedge even though it was only opened early this year, never mind. Keep the great videos coming!

Thanks for making this video! I still have a little trouble with my relay starts so I’ll be sure to try some of yours😊. The point you made about long strokes into the wall is accurate: I did a short breaststroke into the wall at zones and the person after me had an early exchange😬

Can you do a review on Swedish googles their basically just googles without pads and their what a lot of Olympic and elite swimmers wear, also they range from 4-10 dollars I’ve seen

In the uk if we don't touch the block we get disqualified so I have me hands together then bring them down to touch the block then as they touch I dive

Surprised you didn't mention anything about the fact that you're actually allowed to leave the block before your swimmer touches the wall, as long as it's within the 0.03 second allowance

Since this video is more of a technical (simply learning the motions) of a relay start, I didn’t want to confused beginners. If you’re just learning this kind of start, telling a beginner to also try and judge 0.03 of a second could result in a false start. It’s best to start working on those fine-tuning aspects of a relay start once you’re super comfortable with them!❤️
