This is how you want to unveil it! Park it amongst a bunch of other vehicles and as you're walking around checking out all the other cars you spot it you all walk over to check it out and that when you let him know that its his truck!

I would install a relay for the compressor instead of two buttons. You could even take advantage of it and add a button at the fitting too.

That indentation in the rear light is used in South Africa for a red reflector, which is mandatory on the vehicles here.

The left/right shirt is hilarious. The bed liner over spray is very disappointing. What otherwise would have been a pretty much perfect job is now a headache because someone was too lazy to mask and put the fasteners in a safe spot.

When I was young my good friend and I were riding our bikes. He was on one side of the canyon I was on the other. His job was to ride down the hill and go left. My job from the opposite side was to ride down the hill and go right. We ended up in a pile at the bottom. I UNDERSTAND THE TEE SHIRT.

I'm another who would be raising hell about the bed-liner overspray. Doesn't matter that they matched color properly and bed-lined bed properly. Not properly masking and getting that kind overspray is really shoddy workmanship!!

And we always used to cut two six and a half inch speakers in the doors but that one doesn't have the vent windows so you had to be careful how deep of a speaker you put in the door of those ask me how I know lol

You should put a low profile frig. Cooler in the bed instead so if your dad wanted to he could put a lift up cover on his bed so that everything doesn't get wet in the back of his truck. Keep up the great work and God Bless you guys and your families. 😊👍🙏🏼

Dude... I certainly do wish I could be in Pigeon Forge next weekend. It's been nearly 30 years since my wife and I were last there. If I'm not mistaken, the actual anniversary of our trip is sometime in the next 10 days! We had a Goldwing M/C, and the first national rally of that season was in the parking lots of a large motel. We were able to get a room in Gatlinburg's "Jerry Lee Motel". I was a little apprehensive about what the quality of our room was going to be because their rooms were a fair bit less pricey than the other motels in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. I must admit our room, although the decor was quite dated, was very comfortable and very, VERY affordable compared to the other facilities there! I would not hesitate to do a return trip (if the Jerry Lee is even still there)!!! The weekend we were there was also the season opener of Dollywood, and they had an awesome parade to kick off the season. On Dolly's float, she was joined by Jerry Reed Burt Reynolds and Charles Durning!!! That was probably the best parade I've ever been to!

Clearance tee’s not showing for sale on your website? Really enjoyed my early eighties hilux pick-up , then moved on to Toyota surfs()apanese import 4Runners) Then TJ and YJ wranglers….then my trusty 2004 diesel KJ that’s given me nearly no problems in 15years of UK MOT tests !…..which thankfully I still own because I recently bought a (lemon) 2005 5.7 “Grand Cherokee “ which gives me nothing but problems, (if anyones got cats to fit my 5.7 let me know)constantly throwing codes etc and still somehow makes me happy coz of the beautiful V8 rumble which is rare in the UK. I think I’ll end buying another Wrangler or Surf when finances allow!….Wrangler V8 is my dream 🤑 Beautiful thing you are doing for your Dad! 👏👏👏

The paint by Josh is wonderful. At first I didn't think a lot of parts were going to be removed and masking tape was the plan but it didn't end up that way which, in my opinion, is the only method to refinish or even repair paint on vehicles. I can only imagine the yaehoo with the spray hose for the bedliner gave it a couple of initial bust shots before applying the material on the bed and then, you'd think from experience, they would have covered the tailgate gap at the rear body panel preventing overspray down below. You have a milder attitude on that blunder than I would have after all of the special attention taken to paint the undercarriage and use the good stuff in doing so. To have all of that messed up with overspray...I would have told the company, sorry this happened but it going to take about the same time and money to redo all of that as the spray liner so why don't we call it even.

You could use an interposing relay off the go-switch to power the compressor. The power for the compressor can be wired to the normally open contact on the relay and the coil run from the switch

Companies that powder coat seem to get over spray on the axles and shocks more often then you would like everyone I know who has had there vehicle done has one or both of those issues

Rather than using 2 switches for the compressor, it would be better to direct power the compressor through a relay connected to a single switch.

If he doesn’t know that you’re giving it to him at the rod run, you should just have it parked in with a bunch of other cars so you can walk down the strip and just happen across it.
