What a great performance! Yes, she’s got a ton of power in her voice. In fact, I’m only just getting up off the floor to write a comment. She blew me away! Many thanks, Clint, for the submission. Great reaction, Hari, as always.

Here in Canada we have a bounty of female "AM" singers - all extremely talented with BIG voices: Amanda Marshall, Alannah Myles and Alanis Morrissette. All three were charting at approximately the same time. I'm sure that Alanis sold the most tickets and albums, but these other two were I believe every bit as talented singers. My favourite of Amanda Marshall's is Birmingham - just brilliant.

And Ann Mortifee as well. Avril was close...

Harri did Amanda's new acoustic version of Birmingham a few weeks ago, pretty impressive.

This album Birmingham was one of the best released that year and has never gotten nearly the recognition it deserved.

Do Shades of Grey, Official video. 🇨🇦 I saw Amanda Marshall open for Jeff Healey in the early 90s. Her voice made everyone's mouth drop.

Another great artist who got screwed over by bad management and a record company. She was tied up in legal battles for years. Sad, she shoulda been an international superstar.

i think the first song i heard from Amanda was 'Birmingham' a music video that played on a cable Country type of MTV. late 90's maybe. Great Band music with everything Live so good. I bet she's a fan of Janis Joplin
