If we are using it to propagate the plants , how often we need to run the pump ? . Does it need to run continuously from the seed stage ?

You always want the medium that your using to be moist; not water logged and definitely don't want it to dry out. For us here on the North Coast of California, we irrigate 2 times per day, 15 minutes per irrigation - morning and evening. If your in a warmer and dryer climate, you would want to increase that to about 4 or 5 times per day, 15 minuter per irrigation. The setting you will end up using will need to be dialed in.

do you need to add nutrients in the propagation stage?

Yes. Very low concentration at about 0.6 EC.

no, it is level, the trays are designed to sit on a level surface. The have a recess on one end which the water flows to.

What about people who have gluten allergies? You are growing fodder grain grasses in the same system as your lettuce and herbs. I can't do this in my microgreens system.

We aren't currently aware of any studies stating that gluten crops should not share a reservoir with non-gluten crops. Since gluten is poorly soluble in water, it is unlikely that other non-gluten plants would take on gluten proteins from a water source. If you or your produce buyers are concerned with gluten in your water supply, best practice would be to use a different reservoir for gluten-containing crops.

originally that was the recommendation . Use a different reservoir for wheat grass rack . We never went down that road then.

Quit crying dude, gluten allergies are a myth. 9/11 was an inside job. Jesus was an E.T. Reality is fake news.

@@AmericanHydroponics There is no study and no one needs to worry. Wheat and barley grass, along with all other grain producing grasses, are all 100% gluten free. The gluten proteins are only contained inside the seeds, germination and root development converts the proteins for plant growth and it is not soluble in water, like you stated above. The seed needs to be milled in order for that to be possible but letting your grass go to seed would be considered a contaminated crop. Just never let them go to seed and you will never have any problems.

Your video quality is hurting your business. Even in 2017 most people were doing HD. Cameras like the Canon R600 are pretty cheap and have a mike input. A Rode Videomic wolud improve the sound capture. Tripod tripod tripod.
