I wish someone would make a tutorial video on the Elite Ti for someone who has no experience with fish finders/sonar units. I purchased a 5Ti with Total Scan. The good news is, I installed it without issues and it works on the water. Now, if I just knew where I start to learn how to use it and to benefit from all its features. All the videos I've seen so far assume the viewers have experience with fish finders and have good computer skills.

Reading the comments below(I'm about to show my age) I feel like I did when I broke into photography with the Nikon line of equipment. The folks at Nikon heard, and reacted to the screams from the customers to have a real live person conduct a training session in MANY different locations across the country. Maybe the folks at Lowrance will hear the call, that your products are great, but they are so far over our head, we could use your help. I'm sure these folks would also pay for this knowledge, after all they bought your product already. Let's see what kind of comment we get back from them!

hi mate this was a big help i do have one question but, i have a elite 7ti and navionics+ card all brand new and upto date (i think) but unlike the app on my phone i cant do the Dock to Dock automatic routeing on the Elite is it me or does this unit not do it?

Can you communicate between two TI units? Say on on the bow and one at the drivers seat? I have one now, but I am looking at getting another TI for the bow?

*On the TI unit you get additional features such as various sonar color palletes,>>> **allabout.wiki/gd3d** different waypoint icons, a line indicating course and heading on the chart, etc. There are a lot of little details that are not available on Hook units, but they are not that significant overall.*

Apparently, our comments go unheard. I still struggle with my Elite 5Ti. And now, since uploading the most recent update, things on the unit have changed. Except for the major changes in the update, nothing else about the update have been noted. I can't even begin to figure it out on my own.

Are all elite models interchangeable? I have a 5ti elite in my boat but thinking of putting that in my kayak and getting a 9 elite ti for my boat. I just don't want to have to re wire my boat.

Dear LOWRANCE, I like your products, hate the dumb annoying and distracting music on these videos. Just TALK, and stop with the vague generalizations, "it's just amazing what we can get out of this", or "you can use whichever scan rate you want"... EXPLAIN IT with factual examples!
