Loved the Frank Conniff years. Not only was TV Frank a great character but he was also part of a top-notch writing team. I've heard him on podcasts and he's absolutely hilarious.

"Of course you'd know about pain, you've seen Spaulding Gray" late 80s / early 90s deep cut right there. And Spaulding Gray was amazing - "Swimming to Cambodia" was a great monologue. Too bad he off'd himself, but it wasn't surprising tbh.
