Angel's Trumpet is one of the easiest plants to grow and adds a fragrant, tropical element to any garden. Here's a look at the ones in my Florida yard and be sure to check out the other videos on my plants and yard.

Love your garden. I found your videos looking for subtropical gardens because I am moving to Florida from the cold Midwest and I am excited to see what I will be able to grow. I have grown Angel Trumpet in a large pot here and cut it back and store it in a warm garage for winter but wow they get huge in the ground. Thank you for the tour.

I just purchased an Angel Trumpet. It never seems to have enough water. Luckily we’re into the rainy season. Very excited for the flowers to mature and open. I subscribed!

Hi Richard, Beautiful Brugmansia tree's! I also live in Florida and I'm starting my backyard garden that is very plain with only grass over looking a large retention pond. I recently recieved my first Brug for Mothers day from my son. It is about 2 feet high but it looks so very lonely sitting by its self out in the grass. I would love any cuttings you may have and I will happily pay for postage. I live in Port Orange which is near Daytona. I'm also hoping to grow elephant ears, ferns and some ornimental grasses. I'm doing my research and I cant wait to have a lovely garden someday soon.

You have a brugmansia BTW. And you're exactly rite, down for brugs and up for datura. Datura is a weed, a brugs a woody stemmed tree

Love ny brugmansias. Yours are absolutely gorgeous. Do you happen to belong to Brigmansia Growers worldwide? I highly recommend. Free seeds and pollen for hybridizing!

Yes, I have seen them in pots in California out in the full sun. Since they are vigorous growers, give them plenty of water and fertilizer but, as always, keep them well drained. Good luck.

YES! They are poisonous to both animals and humans. Back in the 90’s they made a lot of kids in Florida sick, go look it up. Please be extremely careful touching and smelling them. Do some research before planting them! homeguides.sfgate.com/angel-trumpets-poisonous-91826.html

Yes, these are 100% Brugmansia. Both plants are Brugmansia versicolor hybrids to be more precise.

The plant is very dangerous for humans, very poisonous and toxic, take be careful when you touches the plants. I just loose one of my lovely aunt from cause off the Devil’s breathe (that’s the other name for that plants). Read more information about that plants. Pretty plants and pretty dangerous.

Plants that need high humidity don’t grow well in California, hence no Coconut palms.
