@@kakiytjarone8415 Agreed, JJ is the bomb, but it's not like Emerson is on broadway or anythinig. But yeah, I almost feel like people act like any cover of Santa Fe is better because they're just bored of Jeremy's AMAZING VOCALS. Like, I remember looking up stuff and I found a vid of Mike Faist doing Santa Fe and *every single comment* said that it was better than Jeremy's, and I'm like "THIS IS LITERAL GARBAGE WATER COMPARED TO THE ORIGINAL!" People don't appreciate the original Bway version like they should, although I think we can all appreciate new covers as well. Sorry that was a rant. It wasn't even really directed at you or anything they've just been my thoughts recently lol

Agreed. Maybe because I wasn't as much a Theatre kid as I wanted to be (very very little call for fine arts in my town), but I've always loved newsies and all I hear from theater kids is they hate newsies (and Annie). Edit, I was listening to newsies on my work today. 😊

The ultimate way to annoy someone is by sing the nothing at the last bit really high, higher than what the end note is normally, just to show you can do it, then opt down for the final note

I’m a theater kid I’m crying there was a wildfire, and it got to the place that we were doing the show in. It was great but shortly after right after show is in like June 2 months later in August 9th it burned down the set the whole set burn3d down and newsies was my favorite play ever but now it’s flat Stanley.

I have been singing the Newsies soundtrack every day for weeks ( I even lost my voice for like 3 days) and this hurt so much, this must've been how everyone around me felt when I made them listen to me when I first started lol. Amazing voice though!
