That's why a lot of Anthrax fans are very confused in why the band released on vinyl sound of white noise and stomp 442 the way they did with no liner notes, no lyrics, no pictures, no printed inner sleeves, knowing this perfectly, how important this is for hard copies owners.

The part at the end of this video with Charlie talking about the importance of physical media needs to be clipped out and posted literally everywhere. In the 70's, 80's and 90's and even the early 00's you could buy music and movies just about anywhere. Today...at least where I live...your options for buying physical media locally are limited to Target and Walmart. Mom and pop music stores are few and far between. There is something to be said for physical media. Holding it, the smell, being able to read the liner notes, and the artwork and photography. As well as the need for buying it in a brick and mortar store, that is part of the experience as well. It is all a key element to being a fan of any band. Something that the newer digital generation just does not understand. And need to be taught the importance of physical media.

I think this album, even more so than 'Sound of White Noise', is the best Anthrax ever did with John Bush. What Doesn't Die, Safe Home, Any Place But Here, Nobody Knows Anything, Strap It On and W.C.F.Y.A. are all personal highlights, but the whole record is a truly enjoyable experience, from the first notes of 'Contact' right to the very last bits of their cover to 'We're a Happy Family'. A fitting way to send off the Bush era on a very high note.

The best Anthrax album in over a decade at the time. And maybe the best Anthrax record - period. Great songs, great performances, great production. Artwork, videos, the vibe around the band - the best in years. And they kicked fucken ass live! I saw them twice in Europe on this tour in 2003...amazing. Was then absolutely gutted when John and the band parted ways... Apologies in advance for the negativity, but imho they f*cked it up in a bid to go one better, as they saw it at the time. For me this era is still their peak, and I wonder what might have happened if they kept on track on this amazing journey instead of making that "business decision"... Love this vid series, love the band and wish the guys the very best.

What a great episode that was. Totally agree with Charlie regarding owning a physical copy of the music. Seeing him the last few episodes now holding a vinyl version up of 'Volume 8' and 'We've Come For You All' has made me so jealous. Got them both on CD but they look so much better on vinyl. Maybe it's time I went back to buying that format again. Seen them twice around this album. It had been a while, the last time before that was on the 'White Noise' tour. 1st time was supporting Motorhead at Newport Centre when they had only just written 'Superhero' and then a few months later they played an intimate show at Cardiff University to support the album. Was lucky enough to meet Rob Caggiano on both occasions. Sam Warburton the ex Wales rugby captain used to play 'Refuse To Be Denied' in the dressing room before the players took to the pitch to get themselves pumped for the game. My top 3 on this album are:- 1 - Safe Home 2 - Refuse To Be Denied 3 - Cadillac Rock Box

I feel like these videos have not been releasing consistently. I thought they were supposed to all be released by tomorrow and we have at least two more to go.

the schedule was messed up since the state of euphoria video and it went from there, they skipped a ton of original episodes, hopefully we get one for worship music and one for all kings at least

@@wewlad2917 They should make an episode about the ATL reunion tour and how they fucked it all up at the end by getting Dan Nelson and whining about not being able to get Bush back, before Joey came in and saved the day. It was a weird time for Anthrax for sure!

I have the pentathrax tatooed in my arm and to this day i never thought of no other tatoo i want so bad like that one, so to this day it's the only one i have. Anthrax really was a big part in my life at the time this record came out.

Agree 1000% with Charlie. The media is as much a part of the experience as the music itself. It is a rite of passage to peruse the liner notes while you get your first listen. Almost spiritual…

I remember when nuclear blast were a tiny label taking on death metal bands in the early 90s . It's weird to think that they are the label that most of the original thrash metal bands are now on.

I never thought Nuclear Blast was that good of a label until Death released The sound of perseverance in 98. Now, 90% of my favorite bands are on Nuclear Blast. This Anthrax documentary rules!
