Pawpaw taught me a lot about whitetails in the south and helped me create my love for them. He said if could hunt anything else, it would be big horn sheep. He never did that. Hopefully i can live out my dream and bow hunt a elk one day

Congrats on your Bulls they are monsters. It took me 14 years to get mine. It's the best feeling in the world. Great video it shows the endurance it takes to get one of these amazing animals, even after you take the shot.

That first shot was way too long. Respect the game enough to realize 100 yard target shots in the yard don’t equate to ethical shots on such a beautiful animal.

I've been out west for Antelope and Mule deer. I love the mountains. My journey for Elk will be in 2 years. There will be more Elk trips to come.

I killed a 340 class Bull in 2015 in Wyoming. It was the worst eating animal I ever shot. The backstraps were even tough. Be careful if you think the big ones are good eating. I couldn't give that meat away.

Ha! My Dad is from Tampa/Toledo Iowa area, went out to Idaho for an Elk hunt guided, next thing u know, he and my mom moved out there that next spring!!! Back in 78! That's what we do....whack bulls in the panhandle! Oh man the best! U guys rock!!

That's a beautiful thing man yeah better we all better we all better praise God that we have that land there's a bunch of it then it's been taken though And it's not right I don't belong to the government it belongs to us I'm praying to God I could come out West one day and hunt my own elk thank you They have turned to blues here in Missouri but like there's nothing like about a climb that mountains looks like in my eyes you know that would be the trophy is going into the mountain
