I've noticed that the cat at the Rock Motel was the original old yeller not son of yeller because if you notice he's right eye is missing. They are look so much a like. So glad he's still around. See for yourself.

Love seeing that pileated woodpecker. That takes me back several years when my mother and I was on a country road. Next to the road was a pileated woodpecker. I stopped the car and we watched it and it was making splinters out of this old rotten stump. We had never seen one of these giant woodpeckers before. Mom was elderly, and she told everyone about the giant woodpecker. We were amazed at the size of it. Thank you Donnie for this great video. God bless.🙏

This week's episode is awesome---that pileated woodpecker footage is so beautiful and amazing. One of my favorite birds! Loved seeing the baby possums and Grey Fox too! Thank you Donnie, for helping us all remember our nature friends. And yes---I have been praying very often for everyone who has been caught in the terrible storms and tornados this Spring. Praying for people and for wildlife as well. You take care---things are good here in Ohio. At least, the part I'm in seems to be doing okay!

3 family crisis have taken up all my time. I've missed your videos. I have many to catch up on. I'm going to become a couch potato today and watch them. I can't wait to see what I have missed. Beautiful footage. I live in Carson City NV and when you drive to Gardnetville , which is farm and cattle fields you can see several species of eagles that come from as far as Canada to feast on the after birth of the cow's in the fields. It's amazing to watch them early in the morning's. Thank you for sharing all your videos with the world. I'm going to go get another coffee and start my marathon.

Good morning Mr. Donnie from western Pa. We were out last night in the backyard and the same kind of woodpecker was going from tree to tree making a big raucous lol! My son was having a ball watching it. Our doe started dropping in the last week and one was born right outside our house in the brush. But a lot have yet to drop. They lay for awhile when the mother goes out to eat. We have a gorgeous male red fox nearby. I have a video from last week of twins nursing at my neighbors house. So cute. Blessings and thank you!

I woke up to no internet this morning. Arggg! It took hours to get it fixed but we got it! It's hard to not get attached to these animals, especially the ones who have names. It's good to see ole Dirty Dan still hanging in there, and all those baby possums too. I've never seen one of those woodpeckers either. Thanks for another good Monday morning.

Hi Donnie, It was so neat to see a pileated woodpecker they are so pretty and colorful. You captured a great view of that Red Fox also. You also captured many baby possums, so cute. Always nice to see, these critters on a weekly basis. I think they are having a population explosion. Always room for more. Thanks for sharing, your friend, Louise

Have you ever seen a black & white squirrel? I saw one in a man's yard out in Seymour Tennessee. I have seen black squirrels in the Bronx in NY as a child but have never seen one in Tennessee let alone a white & black one. Thank you for your work videoing the beautiful animals of East Tennessee. I know a lot of work goes into capturing the animal footage & all the editing etc... you bring so much joy so thank you!

Donnie, the pileated woodpecker has a mate in the background on a tree. It is pecking on the tree behind the one in the front. It is at 3:20.
