If you have knee problems, this may be impacting your pelvic floor function. Make sure to see a physiotherapist to assess your knees if you do have problems. They can perform in-clinic joint mobilizations that can help with rehabilitation.
In this video, we will perform a number of exercises that can help when combined with your physiotherapy treatment. Your physio can confirm which are suitable for you. We will focus on exercises that help with stabilization of the knee by strengthening and stretching some key muscles. By addressing knee issues, you should have an improved ability to get into yoga positions that are helpful for both relaxing and strengthening the pelvic floor.

I started experiencing knee pain 6 months ago. Found that hypertonic pelvic floor comes with more problems than I knew. Have been working on my glute medius and hip flexors and that has done a world of good.

I can imagine it has been very helpful. Everything within the body is connected in some way, and when it comes to movement, figureing out what are the underlying issues is pivotal to changing the patterns at play 😊
