Bought my first set back in 1994 and never looked back. Apart from the great spec, the one thing I love about these headphones is how lightweight they are, when either on your head or around your neck. With other headphones that are slightly heavier, i am conscious of the weight and find it a distraction when monitoring a mix.

Have had mine for 6 years and they still work perfectly.

Didn't have money to buy a separate set of DJ Headphones so using my HyperX Cloud Alpha headsets....still the best headphones in terms of sound quality I own.

I've had my HD-25-I for over 14 years, still till this day they are my daily driver and the only thing I've had to do is replace the ear-pads ( one time only, I might add ). I've bought many headphones in hopes of replacing them, however, they are all failed and didn't deliver a crisper and cost way more! Thanks for video mate

I've used countless models made by AKG, Shure, BeyerDynamic, Pioneer, I tried other non-closed Sennheiser models, I even tried a HD25 with a single bridge with pivoting cups. It didn't provide enough pressure on the cup. The HD25plus with steel cable I bought in '99 is the most satisfying piece of engineering I bought and still use and there's nothing better and reliable out there. It's so sound colour neutral and precise, accurate, you can listen to studio albums and live concerts and hear minor human mistakes.

Gutted I purchased a pair yesterday but as the review stated they are very good headphones 👍🏼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇬🇧

They are NOT FLAT AT ALL THOUGH haha. Awesome headphones for DJing, for production... not so much.

How much for the head phones

I got my HD25s some days ago and I noticed that they don't look like the previous models I see around KZfaq.. For instance, mine have a "SENNHEISER HD 25 70 Ω" inscription on both headbands as opposed to "SENNHEISER *logo*" as seen in this video. There's also a sticker on one of the bands saying "MADE IN ROMANIA." Are these models the standard now? Or rather, how do I know if mine are genuine?

I've heard of these before but never had a chance to buy a pair. Honestly I use really crappy headphones for everything. I've also heard that Status CB1 are pretty great headphones. I'm kind of torn between the two now that I've seen this review.

I'll never by a pair of pioneer again. They break easy, and are crap. HD25 will be my next.
