I like how you exsplained it , i train most static movements also at max range of motion to get that area strong cuase you end up there on the table special in hook i think

Another good video. Maybe I will see you the 15 of January if I do not have my exams on that day and one still can sing up.

I think you're the first person to explain it quite like this, and I think there's some truth to it. However, for some of the locks you showed, it seems like they happen a little outside of your shoulder. Ideally, for a tight toproll or hook you would want your hand to be at center chest for your lock, no? Krasi talks about lifting weights at center table rather than letting them get outside your shoulder, and the way Janis and the gang train and pull is also the same.

In my case, due to the lack of flexibility, it already feels like my max range of motion is inside my shoulder :D

isometrics for what stays locked and table-specifc partial range of motion for what moves (like wrist cupping or lat dragging, for example). do i understand correctly? thank you for the video! p.s. I came and checked you out because I saw your Daniel's opponent at the upcoming East versus West, and I am a very big Daniel fan. But, now you are growing on me, too! haha!

Great stuff thanks Champ, i have a question: Do you think Collagen, Chondroitin Animal Flex etc. can really help for building up that tendons, or you let them build collagen by them self ? Do yoh have any experience bout supliments for tendons? Thx 💪

I found all the joint and tendon supplements very useful.

From personal experience with collagen supplements i take daily i've noticed a difference for my tendons repairing faster. If you're gonna buy it just make sure It has as much collagen as possible.

I have a question, Do you mean that we don't need to practice the full range of motion, we just need to practice at the interval we need, right?

this video is a bit old so hope you see it. very good information , need some questions / tips ; 1. when we start, we are not in a clsoed position and i have a hard time getting into that position. im a toproller and when my opponent hooks, its a bit easy, but especially when my opponent also toprolls, i cant keep a very close position. any tips to get in there? 2. i always feel stronger when my arm is opened , my backpressure and pronation is way way more strong then when its closed. is this normal or maybe cuz i was training them wrong? 3. i m scared a bit fighting in closed angles cuz i feel like if my opponent explodes my arm will break? is this really the case or am i bein a bitch? thanks

1. Not sure if I understood the question. 2. You better train the closed position more, until it becomes the most comfortable spot. 3. You need to condition the arm first. It will not feels safe until then.

thanks for replies, first question is ; yea its stronger in closed position but at setup we are not in very closed position, how to get there ? cuz we start with halfway open arm, if we dont stand like we gonna press. especielly against toprollvs toproll; hard to keep your arms so clsoed at the beginning, if i can manage to stop first hit then maybe, i can stay in clsoed position. by clsoed i mean closed arm position.@@tarasaitis_arm
