Justin was severely wounded in Iraq and sent home, even though he wanted to rejoin his unit. During his long recovery, Justin had issues with anger and trouble in crowds. He didn't understand what was happening to him, so he visited VA counselors. They helped him learn to cope with survivor's guilt, PTSD, and physical injury in a healthy manner.

Thank you for your service and you are a Hero! You should write a book about your experiences and your story you certainly have a purpose in life so do tell it to give hope to other.. God Bless you ALWAYS!

You are a hero in so many ways. Thank you for telling your story, and for emphasizing that asking for help is a sign of strength. I once heard a psychiatrist say, "it's the strong people who come see me."

Your are always a marine no matter what my cousin died in Iraq and my brother was hit by a ied and u feel I owe them so much
