I disagree. Fighting early is somewhat necessary cause those early perks come in handy in the mid to late game. Otherwise you're locked out.

Yeah obviously hiding and waiting for everyone to die. And slowly finding better loot might give you the highest chance to come in top 3. But round here were looking for the highest chance to pog

@@zekegrunow7390 Will put you way behind on perks. I don't suggest hiding the entire game, just attempting to avoid fights at the very beginning because your damage is low, so perk generation is slow. Protean powders are quite limited also, particularly since everyone wants red/green, which is effectively reducing the overall powders by a third.

Tbh the way he's playing is optimal for getting better. If you play like it's always going to be easy you won't be ready for stressful situations. I started playing this recently and learning how to fight early on is very useful.

I also don’t understand why there’s such a stigma around the idea of parasocial relationships anyway as long as the person isn’t a psycho. Like I don’t know NL personally and I’d never expect him to be friendly with me, but there are definitely some situations where I feel like he’s a “friend”. It’s nice hearing him talk about his child growing up because it’s sweet. It’s nice seeing him succeed because he comes across as a chill guy. But I’m not a psycho who is going to be mad when he doesn’t know who I am the same way. Who cares if youre in a parasocial relationship as long as it’s not a fantasy-filled psychotic one?

It depends honestly . You can survive most supers with 3 greens. 20% stamina reduces your stamina breaks significantly and those you can lose much more than 30% life from a stamina break combo from a decent player Also, it's much easier to run away or chase down when your stamina is just outright higher

That's probably true. Especially in higher elo lobbies where players have more APM and longer combos. Only sad that NL has been ended by some cheesy supers. Also not sure what the max damage for a super is but I remember seeing one hit for 1534. It could probably be higher if some mad man has a 10 red build.

@@JimBob-mm6np the most I've ever seen off a super was 1500-ish and just from % base increases it would have to be around 9-10 reds for that damage lol. I'd say like 7/10 maybe even 8/10 people are hitting around 1250 and below. And 3 greens puts you at 1300. It's definitely not a bad stat distribution with 5R 5G, but man, there's been multiple times where I've personally taken like 1k+ from a combo because my stam was broken lol. So the extra damage ended up being between 4-600 just from the stam break Ontop of the combo I was already in. Which is more than you'd get from the 2 extra green. It's actually a tough decision when players aren't potatoes anymore lol.

@@devindameron stamina would be a better stat to level if there weren't so many ways to regenerate it easily. damage is premium because one-shotting people is op, and health is either hard to find or the perks you get give you regen based on a % of your max hp as opposed to a flat amount, making hp's value insane. meanwhile, if you really need stamina, you can just hold an energy drink in your pocket and pop it before a fight starts, and if you're really in a pinch you can pop super. That, and as opposed to having perks that make your stamina better, most stamina-related perks just make the costs of moves lower, meaning you need stamina less.

@@ihave2cows in a vacuum within ideal scenarios, sure. But you're not 1 shotting someone with 1300 unless you're red juice binging and that just leaves you wide open defensively. Or you hit some nutty combo like roundhouse into wall splat, then dolphin dive into super or something along those lines Health Is never bad taking by any means but people with higher apms and in lobbies with higher than average apm in general; the extra stamina goes a lot further than 300hp especially considering that's less than half of a javelin tackle's damage with 5(+) reds. It's not really about "having ways to recover it reliably." That matters very little against someone that's decent imo. In a ton of cases a single stamina break can just outright kill you. And you can't prepare a big chug for every single fight to keep your stam managed for you, especially in the last couple circles. That's the same as saying "just keep your pockets loaded with chicken in case you need health" Basically all I'm saying is there is actual decision to be made instead of just a "correct way" to do it. I just personally think the extra stamina outweighs the extra HP. In my experience there's very few moments where I win a fight because of 300 extra HP instead of losing it, comparing to the moments where I need stamina to chase people, run away, or in a close fight breaking their stam first because I had more and winning specifically from that.
