If you can take an output from the center of the mechanical crafter, you could potentially increase your crafting speed by 100%. Mechanical crafting is affected by the maximum length an item needs to travek to get to the output. In your current setup that is 3. If you could point everything to the center it would have a path length of 1. To be generous im counting leaving the output as 1 more psth length, so 4 path length vs 2 path length. This could poyentially be done with an arm or se other way to get output from center I know these are pre recorded,but thought id let you know in case you didnt already Edit: looked at the wiki, math says more of a 66% increase in output

The ultimate goal should be to make a machine for every type of crafting method (crafting table, mixer, saw, crusher, cobblestone generator etc etc). Then create a computer that you can program the recipes into and it will take output from machine A, put it in machine B, and so on, until every item can be created automatically. Then a memory storage system so you can store common sequences and access them with individual buttons.

Hello, I know you generally pre-record these, but I have a few ideas about your mechanical crafters: - Can you feed items into the front of crafters? If so you could have 2 rows of belts+funnels on the back and 1 row on the front. - Can you put crafters facing downwards? If so you could use smart chutes from on top to file them in. - You might also be able to use weighted ejectors, which are ridiculous and silly and I don't think they have very good throughput but it might just work.

I've been looking at modding the recipes for ATFC to add a sequenced crafting recipe for the creation of brick blocks that uses deployers and presses rather than the crafting in the mechanical crafter. I get that it's already an option... but I much prefer when machines are setup such that they look like a production line rather than a grid

I’m not sure if it would work and I don’t know if you tried it but what if you had both the bricks and mortar go into a 9x9 item vault and then have nine smart funnels(might have the name wrong) corresponding to each slot in the auto crafter each one with the correct filter. I don’t know if this could work and I apologize if you try it and it doesn’t.
@Yorick257
@Yorick257 8 ай бұрын
You'll probably need 9 belts too (funnel out -> belt -> funnel in) I'm not sure if they're stackable
@hyperion9934
@hyperion9934 8 ай бұрын
@@Yorick257 the biggest concern I have is if a funnel going into the back of an autocrafter slot only fills that slot or if it will just fill it up like one coming in from the side. If it will fill up all available spots then you would have to alternate between items.

If you pump lava or molten metal at 1rpm into a block below water, the molten metal isn’t even used when the cobble generate This allows you to create whole x*8 areas of cobble which you can destroy with a mechanical piston, when the cobble is destroyed they will pop of into the water stream.
