As you said in the first episode where you realised you were blocked by the coal forge without the flint and steel, you can make the flint and steel with an iron pyrite instead. Look into that, they’re easy to find!

I can recommend making sure that there is no place in a production line, where the item becomes an entity. Placing chutes directly under crushing wheels and so on. Just to make sure that there is no way for backed up machines to delete items or lag the game.

At least there will be the automation challenge of getting unlimited clay, though it's weird not being able to demold the ingots.

at 13:40 instead of using an extra shaft and belt, you could've replaced the shaft that connects the gearboxes wit a small cog, and put another between that and the pump cog to connect them. Cogs have shafts in them already and it would've kept powering the rest of the system.

Gearboxes are gearshifts that dont allow Redstone control. If you need a reversed rotation, one gearbox will switch it

Mango needs to start using brass funnels instead of igneous funnels. Brass funnels can drop the whole stack and it will significantly increase the throughout of the whole chain. Unloading dirt to mixer, dropping the stack of molds for drying, etc.

you dont need a filter for the basin. as you already mentioned, the unprocessed dirt stays in the basin. That ist because I think all create machines check there recipes and only export the processed items for the recipe. This also adds, that items, that cant be processed, would not be exported and stay in the machine until taken out manually. That way a cobblestone or so on a belt can clog up a whole assembly line

Really enjoying the series! Not sure you can use this, but when you put the crushing wheel on it's side, you can run a belt underneath it. That way you can have a belt back up and be full to stop production. The grinding wheel as it is now will always drop it's content when it's done, even if it just falls down to despawn.

This series is going to go full scicraft soon and we're going to see some CRAZY scale machinery and I am SO READY FOR IT!

Don't know if it's different in ATFC, but in normal Create you can right click a copper pipe with a copper casing block to encase the pipe in a solid block, without consuming the casing. Andesite and brass casings do the same for shafts and cogwheels, interchangeably.

I know many other folks have commented about using gearboxes for changing rotational direction, and I have another suggestion that will really improve your skills: spend some time practicing with the wrench and rotating machines! It's actually quite intuitive once you understand the rules, and it'll help you a lot in the long run. The basic idea is that it rotates along the axis defined by the face you click on. If you click on the top face, it'll rotate around the up axis.

As you're inputting into the crushing wheels with a belt, you can get away with having them process much slower.

You can make a Flint and Steel if you knew where to get Pyrite which it's easier to do than you think. All you need is one of those pans and sift specific types of ore gravel in the rivers. Either Phyllite, Basalt, Andesite, Dacite, Rhyolite, Schist or Slate. It's not the most common, but if you do it enough, you'll get a piece of Pyrite with ease.

you can move a water sources using fluid pipes even with just a hand crank. worked on 1.18.2 when i tried it yesterday maybe even in and out of a barrel

if the fan is the bottleneck you can use multiple fans in one setup to speed it up

The gearshift chaindrive being so hard to make is a little weird, i would expect it to be one of the first upgrades over cogwheels to increase RPM, but apparently the rotation speed controller, which is much better imo, is easier to make.

Ik you have a lot of backlogged episodes, but you can place the wheels horizontally and make the items go through it with a belt, save some effort of making the items go up and down.

It would be so nice to have pet commands in vanilla. That way the pets don't feel like decoration.

I wonder if the sweet rolls are to fill a gap until a future update where they might get changed to expire or remove.

They should have made a dried fruit bread as the food that doesn't expire, because there are some recipes that can last quite a while.

The use 1 clay to get 8 out doesn't quite check out when the grinding has an 25% chance, it would be 1:2.

Weird that you can make sweet rolls without anything sweet. Like for example sugar or honey. Would be cool if adding fruit to sweet rolls could be an "optional" extra step for the fruit bonus.

Dirt is significantly more important in this pack than it has any right to be.

hey ilmango, it seems like you haven't notisted yet, at least i thing. for you're ingot production you have put you"re filters with a whitelist. but there is also a blacklist, so you only need to put in the molt and don't need to worry about adding an nother allow. i hope this helps. if not i'm really enjoying this séries. alos for the drils, if i'm not mistaken ( i'm unsure tho), there is no need to put drils on the maximun rpn beacouse they can only drill up on a serten speed, and you would wast tress. just something to keep in mind when you're going to automate the clay production.

Bread in real life - loves growing mold. In fact that's how penicillin was discoverd. Milk in real life - goes off practically instantly. In fact we figured out cheese and butter to avoid the waste of off milk. Bread + milk in ATFC - infinitely preserved. Yeah no lmao. I would just not make that item on principle.

I know this is pre recorded, so probably way too late. But at this point it probably would be best to get some steel to make the bioler instead of adding yet another windmill. Especially since you have so much copper.

You said it, that REALLY is a beautiful stack of ingots!!! I find myself wanting the ability to stack ingots in vanilla because they look so much cooler then a block. Sadly, I'm on console, so I can't even get the full benefits of running Bedrock on PC. Sony really bottlenecks what we can do on Bedrock. To be able to run data packs the end user would need access to files that Sony really doesn't want its client's getting into because we would also have access to the rest of the system files and they don't like this for some random reason......... I tried telling them that I have no desire to hack their console........ and they ignored me. The main thing I'd love to change is how much space they allow for saved worlds......... it's somewhere around 4 to 6 gb!! Doesn't sound too bad until you realise that my 1.18 world is unplayable now that it reached 2gb and my 1.19 would is getting close to that. Currently saving money to upgrade my pc to something that can handle more fun and excitement 😅 Keep up the awesome work 👍👍👍👍👍

I find myself wondering what would have shown up at the end of the pumped pipe if you'd just let it sit a while. Create moves source blocks, but surely that was nerfed out, right?

one question, if you cant make buckets to move water, why dont you use create to do it? pipes and tanks can be able to move it unless if a bucket is needed for the crafting recipe of tanks and such.

has moving water sources with the fluid pipes been disabled? base create allows you to move fluids by Just pipes and a pump, and if the output is air it will place the source block.

i saw Soaryn on Twitch experiment with extremely low rpm and he hooked up a set og crushinng wheels to it and if you threw in a single item it was instantly converted idk iif this has been fixed or if it is evenn applicable to your build but its something i thought might help

i think outputting 16 at once is not a smart move cause the crushing wheels take longer to crush bigger stacks ! imo the 1 by 1 felt the more balanced where everytihng was flowing without slowdowns ! (that's actually how we would wet up a lot of systems in maintenance) yes you always have 1 item on the belt but that way all the subunits work all the time instead of having the crushing wheel hold onto batches that then pile up behind and repeat

It's kind of ridiculous that gravel breaks pipes, you can easily bury pipes in real life, and this modpack is supposed to be realistic. They had to deliberately add that mechanic. Also, the filter slot on the basin is for the recipe, so it will only ever activate recipes that result in the item in the filter slot

Btw you can make ingots without molds, catalyst and saw could you help 😏

At 27:30, you say you can make 8 clay balls from 1 clay ball. But isn't that false? You make 8 dirt blocks with 1 clay ball, then those 8 dirt blocks make 2 clay balls (because it's a 25% chance)

If an assembled minecart stop and places it's blocks, it would break anything in it's path (even harder block like obsidian). One guy demonstrated this by using a minecart with a "vertical wall" as a quarry. It seems faster and more efficient than just using drills

Sweet rolls need to be nerfed. Maybe they should add fruit and sugar and dough into the bread recipe, and add a sugar bar. And then they should give you slowness if you eat too much sugar. The expensive recipe should make it an endgame item and the slowness should still make it sort of balanced. Or what ilmango said, just reduce the stats. Maybe .5 dairy and .5 wheat.
