The plane was flying so slow that Starmans cape didn't flutter, and his hat stayed on his head.He must have been able to project a protective bubble around himself. The Emrald men must MUST TALK thru telepathy, they just kept moving their little arms up and down, the star kept turning back aND forth, and their little eyes kept up the blinking sequence, truly an advanced civilization.

Tis surprising indeed that, since 1965 when this movie masterpiece was made the sci-fi FX has made no advances whatsoever. Why, when STARMAN was making his way across the depths of intergalactic space he could fly without the aid of wires, even our most recent Superman film had him similarly flying. with all the technological advances in this 21at Century, movie makers have remained static. STARMAN could easily have been made in 2021 no back in the swinging 60's, GOOD tIMES INDEED
