Great Video Would suggest that you loosen all bolts on a unit before removing them Would have made the back bolt easier to do on the exhaust pipe I would also suggest that you do not use non metric tools (3/8) as it will not fit properly

My a4 b7 has 300000km. It burns alot of oil. The chain and tensioner broke. After I replaced chain and tensioner the car started to burn more oil than usual. Like a quart every 200km. I still want to work on this car and keep it. But now I am not sure if it's the turbo, valves or piston rings. You think replacing the cylinder head would help? Maybe the valves are bent? It misfires intermittently and huge blue smoke out the exhaust. Also there's alot of oil in turbo down pipes. All four spark plugs have lots of oil and carbon build up. I have to clean them every week. What's your opinion? Should I let it go? Thanks

Any advice on how to get the replacement turbo to seat correctly? I was having a hard time to get it to seat correctly and now I think I have an exhaust leak at the head exhaust outlets going to the turbo manifold
@GTIMKV Жыл бұрын
Make sure to love the downpipe out of the way. Make sure the turbo bracket from underneath is disconnected. Make sure to free up the lines on the turbo as well.
@ChidiOable Жыл бұрын
@@GTIMKV thank you. For the brackets that the turbo sits on did you have to loosen those up before you sat the turbo on them or did you leave those fully tightened? I think that’s my problem is that I loosened them when maybe I wasn’t supposed too and I couldn’t get a tool in there to tighten them enough after the turbo was mounted, so I have an exhaust leak.
