I think if an officer turns up and somebody is in custody they aren't responsible for putting them in custody, would have thought that was obvious, they cannot know the reasons and must by duty support the officers who called for their help. I rang police because there was someone trying to get in my back door , I’ve never been in any trouble ect but they came and ignored me and raided and took my baby out of bed and brought her downstairs I was screamed at that I was to admit I couldn’t cope i was so scared I wanted to call the police to remove the police. I phoned up for a copy of the report and complained but told I had no report and months later a letter stating I was not able to make a complaint and that I should of made a complaint that same day it was a very rude letter to be honest and i was left frightened of reporting anything to the people that were supposed to protect the public.

I have recently done a subject access request because I would like to see what information exists on my record because I suspect one of the officers at this station is mutual friends with my stalker based on comments they've made to me before. That might be something useful in your situation as if there exists a report it is your right to see it. Make sure the subject access request is in writing to the police and politely decline any conversation over the phone regarding it unless you can record the conversation. So the intial response is fine, but then it goes horribly wrong very quickly.
