Hi Frani! I also grew up in the church and stopped going in college. I just met so many new people from all walks of life and the point of view of the “church” just didn’t interest me anymore, I felt like I was putting my mind in a box. It would be interesting to try again and look for a place that has broader views and diverse members. I still feel like a spiritual person and sometimes I do miss that

Thanks for sharing that. I'm not sure what I'll conclude in my little experiment reintegrating a regular church practice. I don't know if I'll find myself releasing it altogether in the near future. I think what's most important is to have friends and chosen family that you can process life with and celebrate all the beautiful things with. Whether you find that in church or somewhere else is up to you! Holding a spacious compassion for myself and for you on your way!
