How about seismic sensing as an earthbending skill? cause that is what we see Toph do at the bottom right skill of the earthbending skill tree, Aang used that too in his fight aginst Fire Lord Ozai

Interesting that Earthbending is the only bending style without a breath based move. Waterbenders can use their breath to freeze, Firebenders can breathe fire, Airbenders can breath powerful gusts of air (and regulate their body temp with it) Edit: I have found an Earthbender breath move. In Tales of Ba Sing Se, Toph uses her breath to make the mud mask on her face wiggle and protrude like a snail, scaring a maid

I wish we got to see Aang learn healing! I always thought it was interesting he was able to learn seismic sense when he initially struggled with earth bending, but didn’t learn healing even though he has a natural knack for water

I’ve always felt like the reason Aang was moderately okay at waterbending in the Waterbending Scroll when he first started was because of his literal mastery of airbending itself.

I took it as the influence of his past lives. The moves felt familiar. But only the basic moves. When it got to the more advanced stuff or mentality, his natural skill dropped off.

For those of you wondering the avatar born in the air Nation can't learn the levitate techniques cuz the avatar has a responsibility to the world and this techniques require to loose bonds whit the world like the wind Not to mention he was in love whit Katara during the entire series

Yes. I think it was Yangchen who told Aang that even though he was an air nomad, he could never follow the spiritual path of his people, because the avatar has a responsibility to the material world and can never be detached from it to reach enlightenment.

I feel like with Water, the same principles of Airbending apply to Waterbending. Not to mention that Air is part of Water. Also, the first two times Aang used Waterbending was when he was in the Avatar state (when he first froze himself and Appa for 100 years AND when he first reawakened when escaping Zuko's ship in the second part of the show's premiere episode).

I think it's hard to argue that any skill that we only see Aang use in the Avatar State can be considered something he actually knows. Since he's channeling past avatars in that state, it's not really his knowledge but that of his past lives.

Which is why korra bending is more powerful than aang… she bend large volumes of water without avatar state like a tsunami, her earth bending rocks are massive and her airbending will stin but korra and kyoshi was physical benders

I wanted the name of the silhouette attack he hit Zuko with before Azula struck him with lighting. It was like a dense air copy that flew off of Aang. Not formal I'm sure, but really cool for an improvised move
