A very dark, meaningful video, which is amazing, imho. (I interpret the video to be about the Holocaust or similar.. the guy is determining the fate of people, incl children (the folders). The bloody angel (singer) is his conscious tormenting him. This is the song that introduced me to them (but the live version). You can't go wrong with any song by Avatar, live or video, so I hope you'll react to more! They're truly a phenomenal band. Btw, leader singer is Johannes. Guitarists are Tim and 'Our King' Jonas (dreadlocks). Bassist is Henrik. And last but not least is John on drums. 🤘

Most important thing - John, Jonas, Johan and Johannes are different people.🤣🤣🤣John with drums, Jonas with dreadlocks, Johan is director of almost all their videos and Johannes... is Johannes.🤡😂😂In this video he more like Pennywise (IT) than Crow. Highest level of Crow was reached in Torn Apart video.🥰 This is a song about the NKVD (People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs; later known as KGB), how they sentenced millions to be executed or sent to Siberia to labour camps. "Bloody angel" is a NKVD officer who just approved one death of an "public enemy" after another. And the frontman of Avatar embodies the demon who haunts him in his mind. And ss Johannes said, ‘Bloody Angel’ is about shame and guilt. You look around and watch all the suffering and while you search for someone or something to blame, you end up in front of a mirror. Everything you touch, you break. Everyone you try to save you hurt and push further away. Interesting fact: Johan Carlen was inspired by Dogville and Manderlаy by Lars von Trier when building the scenery for the clip. For the first time, the band shoots their play separately. Just on a black backdrop. Check out New Land, The Great Pretender (official video not on official page for some reason), Going Hunting, Night Never Ending, Vultures Fly, Tower, Construction of Souls. Black Waters, Scream Until you Wake, In Napalm. Especially New Land, very underrated funny video in retro sci-fy style.

I`ve seen BabyMetal in Germany but sadly Avatar was just the pre-Band on the US Tour.........sigh.....I`m still angry about that....
