Love your channel! I wish you would do a video on Confixor. I have fine hair that’s kinda fragile and started using this to give my hair body and hold and texture. Not sure if it’s damaging if used for prolonged periods of time and how and when to apply this product? I use Aveda leave in and heat protectant and it seems a little stiff sometimes when it’s used on wet hair and afraid it will break my hair? Anyways when you get chance and would like to respond that would be nice. Take care. Dawn from Oklahoma

Hi Dawn! I love Confixor! It’s definitely not damaging, and it can be used in a variety of ways. Can you tell me more about your styling routine? Do you blow dry with a brush or are you air drying? Being a liquid gel it can definitely stiffen a bit (that would be the hold). I’d say how you use it depends on your routine and your desired result. Leave me another comment with more details, I’d be happy to talk it out with you 😊

Hi Deron! Thanks so much for messaging me back. I usually blow dry my hair and use curling iron on bottom or sometimes to straighten my curl I use the curling iron to flatten ares on top. My hair is highlighted and very fine with fuzzy curls and confixor really seems to help hold my straight style and then my curls on the end. I let it air dry for a bit dry it almost dry on cool before I add heat on med high and high to get my hair smooth to finish it off. I don’t want to over do it but heat is the only thing that styles my hair I just don’t know when and what order to apply products. I use nutria finish for moisture add thickening spray heat protectant then confixor and more heat protectant lol. My hair damages easy. I’ve used aveda for 20 years and wash with the damage remedy line. Mask every so often. Gosh it seem like I always obsess over my hair. That’s why I love your channel it’s been so helpful. I use brilliant heat protectant too. Sorry I’m rambling on. Just any good advice would be so appreciated. Thanks again for being so kind to answer my question. Sincerely Dawn

I’m happy to know you are enjoying my channel 😊 Your order of products sounds good, are you putting them in your hair before air drying? Also are you not fully drying your hair before the iron? If so I would definitely dry your hair completely before curling. Damage Remedy is awesome but you might want to upgrade to Botanical Repair. It’s amazing for strength and not as heavy as damage remedy 😊

Hi Deron, yes I am putting the products in my hair before I air dry I do put more heat protectant after hair is dry before I iron. I think my hair is protein sensitive and hard to accept moisture so I think I will get the new botanical products. And use confixor for a while longer as see how it goes. Is the flaxseed product better? Never tried it? Also one more question does the Brilliant heat and confixor build up do you recommend I try a build up product like once a week or every two weeks. I think I use a lot of product so just wondering if I should deep cleanse?

Flaxseed is similar but has a more glassy shine and might not keep the curls in their locks as well as Confixor, I would stay with Confixor. And I don’t think you need the second round of heat protection, and you definitely don’t need to worry about buildup though a deep cleanse once a month isn’t a bad idea.
