DISCLAMER: Please don't attempt fasting without checking with your physician. Especially if you have a medical history or a history of an eating disorder. Your health is more important then following a random girl on youtube ❤️ This video is based on my personal experience, fasting might not be a good fit for everyone.
I'm BACKKKKK and finally with week 4.
Thank you guys for all you patience ❤️

Hey Rah! I recently discovered your channel and it has come at the right time. I’m a guidance counselor for a middle school and these have been such difficult times for our students. I’ve been feeling depleted making sure their social/emotional needs are met. You give me life! I get revitalized from watching you and inspired to do my job with fidelity!

When you were talking about dopamine, it reminded me of something I read the other day: "Dopamine doesn’t produce the feel good people normally associate with it, but it causes the craving for the feel good. This craving can even continue when the pleasurable effects of a stimulus are non-existent. Yes, you are reading this right. Even though there is nothing in it for you anymore - you keep doing it anyway." (I haven't looked into any scientific validation of that statement, but if true, it's interesting!)

When I started I weighed 301 pounds and as of today I weigh 294. I love your videos and I think you look amazing. Love following your journey of course i just started today, following and watching your vids of course. It's amazing to see the changes in you.

Yea essentially the science is calories in and calories out. I just find it easier to do one big meal a day instead of multiple small meals a day. And also work on improving the quality of those calories . . I don’t want to just lose weight if it means I don’t get my nutrition and lose my health. Thank you!

If you quit ALL SUGARS ... you literally don’t get cravings. I had to do to save myself from pressing MS... it’s INSANELY eye-opening! And I could NEVER do this if I ate carbs and sugar etc. but without ... you’d be soo surprised! I’m 115 lbs now, 5’5” which is AWESOME but not why I had to do this ... I can walk without a cane etc! You should try!

I struggle with sugar/carb addiction and I didn't over or underindulge and it was about 3,000 calories too! It's so easy because when your addicted and on a high carb diet, I just eat like every 1.5 hrs.
@dashrubberbear
@dashrubberbear 3 жыл бұрын
don't be so hard on yourself, obviously the stress is messing your regime, but you gotta do what you gotta do as as long as you are trying your best, it's perfect. I also struggle with self criticism and perfectionism, but we should not beat ourselves up. Sleep deprivation and stress are the biggest enemies here since they trigger cortisol which in turn raises insulin levels and when they drop, you get really hungry and start craving carbs. If you increase your fat and protein intake and reduce carbs, it will be easier. For me it is. Anyway, I think you are doing just fine given the circumstances, so please don't give up 🤗💗
@theadventuresofrah
@theadventuresofrah 3 жыл бұрын
I agree 100%. In an ideal scenario I would be sleeping well and meditating and staying away from the bad stress. I do feel like I crave more junky carbs when I’m sleep deprived and stressed. However, where I am in my life right now I’ll just work on what in my control and make mini improvements. Don’t worry I won’t give up 💪
