A DCOM ( disney channel original movie) from 2010 about a girl named Allie who has moved to a new town and starts going to Avalon High. While she's there she notices her and her friends are reincarnations of King Arthur and his court. Avalon High is a beloved DCOM to many BUT NOT ME. TODAY we watch Avalon high and breakdown the story and all the issues with the movie.

@@kingnusmi In the book the teacher actually was Merlin. Will was Arthur and Allie (Ellie in the book) was the Lady of the Lake who gives Arthur Excalibur. Marco is Mordred. Miles doesn't exist in the book lol. Just to show how much they changed for the movie.

I liked that movie because back then i was already obsessed with Arthurian Legends. Loved everything that was at least a little bit connected with it. Also mainly enjoyed the movie only because of Gregg Sulkin! After watching that movie i went straight back to BBC Merlin tho.

the way that i was OBSESSED with this movie and in LOVE with miles, that it started me on a whole "king arthur n such hyperfixation and wrote self insert fics with miles as my love interet" spiral 😅😅😤😤

(spoilers) Why not make the teacher merlin and miles Mordred. I feel miles being smart friend to will while also being manipulative a bit more, maybe sells marco homeworks and his attitude towards people is already bad. I think it will give a nice spin both on the character of mordred and also on the nerd trope in high school movies

Everyone is saying the book is amazing, so I went to check it out and...either I got the wrong one or yall are TRIPPIN Cause the writing is actually SO BAD💀 it felt like a Wattpad fanfic! She monologues about having a pool and how thats weird 😂 its giving Jughead monologue about his beanie 😂. I really hope I accidently read the wrong one bc if compared to what I read the movie is a MASTERPIECE 😂 Edit: I realise this sounds hostile af but its really not meant to be. I was just really excited and then mega disappointed by how bad the book is.

I watched it for the first time after I had taken a special treat 🍃 and I was soooooo confused on. I was convinced it was the treat that was making me think the movie was terrible but nope it wasn’t that. I’m pretty sure they used most of the budget money for that beach scene 😭😌

As a King Arthur fan I disagree I thought it was cool. It was a surprise and I always did like a badass lady with a sword. Not to say that a girl cant be badass without a sword, I just thought it was a fun twist. Also I am not expecting any accuracy from a disney movie.

Do I, a grown woman, know that this movie was objectively BAD and suffered, among MANY other things, from atrocious pacing? Yes. But I LOVE rewatching it 😂 I was obsessed with this movie as a child probably because it had to do with King Arthur, had that one very pretty actress, knights, magic and Girl power😂 All that to say, this movie will forever slay and I kinda wish they made a TV show with this premise, but like good. And no I dont mean gritty and grown up or whatever, I mean this same tween vibe, but GOOD😂 Also the song that plays and the round table scene live rent free in my head 😂 This video had me dead. Super underrated!
