This song was written by Kanami during the recent US tour . It's about how overwhelmed with love the band felt from the fans and how they felt the same ! I assume Miku wrote the lyrics. The concert footage is from their Jan. Tokyo Garden Theater Concert and Miku probably filmed the desert scenes during their recent support for The Last Rockstars here in the US. It's also to announce the April release of the Tokyo Garden Concert DVD/BLR. I doubt there will a new album this year they are pretty busy touring, but you never know , Kanami has lots of songs already written on her computer !!

My interpretation: The desert symbolizes the long period of loneliness felt by them during the Covid 19 shut down. The feeling of isolation which ended with their tour and the love felt from us fans!

Like Shadow58 mentioned - this is a song for all the fans who attended their concert tour in the US. To me, it is obvious that Kanami was moved by the love showed by BAND-MAID fans and Miku expressed her emotions to the fans loyalty through her lyrics. Again, like Shadow58 suggested, I believe it was their only chance to film the video in the US was during the LA show with The Last Rock Stars. I wouldn't be surprised, should they have had the finances and the time, they would have filmed in other parts of the US.

I believe the hardest thing about this video is Miku walking in the desert with those high heels. I wonder what the over/under of how many times the Klutz Pigeon fell. I'm kidding, of course. This song really shows the talent and versatility of my favorite group.

And the video was perfectly low budget but effective. I can see it now. Driver: "We're passing through Joshua Tree, a beautiful desert location in the US. Many big movies shot out here." Miku: "We should shoot a video for Memorable right here, right now. It's perfect. Look, a broken piano in the middle of nowhere. ぽ" Akane: "We are on our way to our next show, we don't have time to setup." Miku: "That's fine, I'll just walk around with my guitar and look kawaii. First, feel better bro. Second, this was probably filmed probably just a couple of weeks ago when the were in LA for the Last Rockstars performance. They wrote this during the US tour, so I find it highly unlikely they filmed it last October/November.

Good way to tough it out! Band-Maid will make you feel better for sure! I feel like the video was made on the fly as they traveled through the US. We are used to seeing the desert but to Japanese the would recognize it as the US right away.

I subscribe to the Band-Maid newsletter. This morning they dopped an email with links to the new video. One link gave a menu where you could choose between deezer, KZfaq, KZfaq music, or the iTunes store. There was an album cover above the menu. I repeat: THERE WAS AN ALBUM COVER! It was mostly black and white pen drawn: in the foreground was a hand holding a fountain pen above a sheet of paper upon which was written "Memorable". In the background is an entertainment center with a TV showing the Tokyo Garden Theater show (a color screen shot). On a shelf next to the TV is the "Unleash" boxed set. It's a weird little picture that reminds me of the cover for the "Sense" CD. Under this cover illustration is written: Memorable BAND-MAID • Album 1 video No views Updated today And off to the side is the 'Memorable' video. Are they going to post more videos? ...from an upcoming album? I dunno! How many songs have they written? ...while on the US tour? ...after TGT? ...with TLRS? That desert sure has a California look to it. Did they shoot in between the NYC & LA TLRS shows? I love the piano just sitting out in the desert. We all got used to our "stuff" getting delivered by truck. I'm guessing it represents how alone with their music they felt over the past few years. We all love our rockin' Band-Maids, but they seem to be the only band that will write songs like this that show how deeply they appreciate their fans. I know a few of us get their panties twisted when the Maids don't rock out full force, but I think they're at their best when they go 'off-label' and do their heartfelt fan appreciation songs.

Thank you BG. Edited to add: Miku wears those to hide scars and bruises. She is somewhat accident prone and has fallen many times and cut her leg badly enough requiring stiches at least once. Part of it she is far sighted and doesn't like to wear her glasses or contacts. And this song was written during their tour here in the US last year as a response to the emotions from the fans. Get better Sir.

BG, and I believe it's in the California desert. edit: Premise is I think the memorable experience they had during the US Tour 2022. California is quintessential American.

They have never seen America like they had the chance to this last year. The desert represents the places they had never seen until then. Traveling by bus across the country I am sure made a big impression.

I don't think there is a concept. Sometimes it's just Miku in a particular setting. I see Miku on the tour bus in Oct between San Diego and Phoenix, looking out the window, pointing and saying "There. Stop the bus."

The song was written on tour; the American West is so completely different from Japan that it might have been pretty mind-blowing to drive across it on "Black Cat-chan." "Unleash!!!!!" has them planting their flag on a mesa that looks a lot like the deserts of SoCal, Arizona, and New Mexico. So, who knows?

At Tokyo Garden Theater, "Memorable" was premiered after "About Us" . These two songs soothed the audience emotion (I was there 😍) ... and then brroom!! "Manners" 😲.

Their newer music all sounds the same to me and I'm not a fan, I love their earlier music as it hits harder.
