I think the Usopp Hammer scene is one of my favorites for Usopp because for once, we get to see how people outside the crew view him, namely they believe his lies. I think a weapon-devil fruit combo is very usefull. A weapon can be used by multiple people and you don't lose your ability to swim in a world full of water. You're also able to have multiple weapons with different abilities than just one. I think it makes sense to combine it with an object who hasn't free will instead of people, who can get power hungry. At least you can take the weapon away.

Can't comment much on how the gun got infused with the devil fruit. But I think because it's a Zoan type it works. It is more exciting who did it and how it works down the line. I like that One Piece eventually explains stuff even if you have to wait awhile. I don't know if I would watch it if it didn't and just throw random stuff at us.

It has plot and story arcs sometimes even better than the movies, and it's all thanks to Oda's genius art and perspective that we see amazing visuals.

Cleanup batter Mr. 4 doesn't have a devil fruit power, BTW, he's just that strong. As has already been mentioned, Usopp's lies have been known to come true, sometimes in the most unexpected ways. So far we've got the giant goldfish with the island-sized poop and the giant mole. I personally think the biggest lie he's told himself is that he's not yet a brave warrior of the sea. The second he got on that ship, that one came true, as far as I'm concerned. I mean sure, he runs and his legs shake, but he comes back. Especially when it comes to defending his friends.
