Makes me feel better. I just put a bottle in my 500 hp 10.5:1 compression 351 Cleveland. After pulling the passenger head multiple times checking the block/head I noticed some low spots around 3 thousands deep between the water jacket and cylinder on the block surface. Just enough to cause slight bubbles of compression to leak into the cooling. There is no way to fix this other than pulling the engine, complete disassemble, and have the block surfaced. Sooo.....I said screw it I will try the Bar's. If it works on a 20:1 diesel with boost then my 10.5:1 compression 351 natural aspiration should be good.

Mine is completely stock someone did put a crate motor in it, not the original motor, I have made no modifications and plan on not making modifications, the truck always ran well had power but it does have some kind of a fish biting they call it on the internet always did.

Ya can buy stuff called water glass at the drug store that will seal up head gaskets. In Canada. Works good

It's in between a beater and worth tearing apart, just put brand new Firestone tires on it before winter, did order a graphite head gasket set with head bolts and gaskets for 99 dollars on Amazon, Domestic gaskets, also I'm looking at ACDelco head gaskets, overhauled engines when I was 18,worked in a shop familiar with head gasket leaks I mean it's not a new story haven't done any of that for a long time going to be 63 now, still have all the impact tools and air compressor, about have to do it myself, I have tore the rear differential apart and put new seals in, all new ball joints in the front end and tie rod ends, so I guess this is the next step any advice would be helpful

Hey man lovin your channel and what you have to say! I got an 00 crew cab 4x4 srw with a 6.5 and NV 4500 lookin to get better mileage, what would you suggest to improve mileage?

I have a 1995 k3500 6. 5 diesel that has slowly started getting compression in the radiator in the hoses, has been a daily driver for The last 5 years, and talk to bars leak com, do you still believe in the bars leaks and should I try that, ran great all winter started except for the coldest days, then the gauge got hot this spring, I just put all new injectors on and return lines I thought maybe that was the problem at first but then it is steadily gotten worse now, any ideas would be helpful I liked your video.

Hows it doin? Id love an update im about to do the same thing to a junker i bought with a 6.5 in it. Runs great just blows coolant outa the exhaust like urs.

6.5 owner so I try to catch any content posted. If you don't mind me asking, where are you located? Hard to find anyone still working on these trucks that are competent.
