Vanilla base building needs expanding; you can build a watch tower but not a log cabin. If you could build a stilt foundation that you could build on top of would be ideal. Even being able to dig out ground to build an underground bunker would be brilliant.

You HAVE to build bases when with friends, sometimes they need anchors while they roam, your job as an anchor is not just to guard the base, but to set up defenses as well

I am very new to the game and found your video really helpful. I would like to ask, how do you raid a base on the Official servers? Also, I am having a hard time making my walls align straight. I have gaps in the corners and the wall just dont line up straight.

You also could use a pickaxe instead of a shovel

Thanks for the advice I got the car . Well as long as you guys played you see this coming like a train in a dark tunnel. Bam my car won't start all parts are green all of the chas is green full gas full water and it still just cranks but wont start .

You are Dayz King if you build such base by yourself on 90ppl server on vanilla or on no trader servers. With one character life.

Do gates only open from the inside? Can anyone open said gate? Can I build a shelter inside a building as storage? Do bases decay?

Hey, i wanna build a base on official,hope it wont take too long for a small base since im alone. I dont quite understand the first part with building,you get ropes and sticks,which one do you have to create to have a solid wall? Also i came up a lot on the gates with combo lock,how do i take it down without doing codes(its not my combo)? Also,when i wanna put custom combination on lock,do i firstly choose it and then place it on my gate? Sorry for bible and thanks for respond.

If the game is going to be realistic enough to make us carry logs... Then it needs the proper equipment to match such. A truck and or trailer and a chainsaw would be nice. Having to use an axe the entire time feels like a lack of progression. Especially when you have to stuff logs into a Pinto. I get it's an apocalypse game... I also get there's a mass of equipment in the real world as well. Implement it lol.

I still dont really understand the building mechanics, i get how to do stuff now, but how do i destroy or replace a misplaced Wall, or when anyone builds anything on the server, does the game detected the Builder? Like do the builder has some "special rights"I to the construct, like destroying it easier, take it and place it somewhere else etc. What for example i place a Combination Lock on someone Elses Wooden Gate, can he just destroy the fence with a Click? Note:havent build something yet

why do you have mags hotkeyed? theres a button to reload fresh mags lol

This game is soo stupid and makes absolutely no sense..my dad has the same hammer for 15 yrs now...and it still works as if brand new..shovel same thing...the only things that he changes out are blades....this game is so complicated it makes no sense...get sick too fast..eat and drink 100 times an hr like wtf..
