That last bit...I am imagining a match in one of Solaris VII's arena...Gladiator battlemechs exchanging fire amidst the sand & boulders, lasers and particle beams lashing the air with eye-hurting brilliance and the smokey trails of missiles and autocannon crossing paths...the crowd cheering wildly...and suddenly Marik space-to-surface starts slamming into the ground with earthquake rumbles and distant mushroom clouds rising. A hush falls over the crowd. Even the mechs stop to look up as the Succession Wars comes to them. This is it. The end. And suddenly the commentator's voice comes over the speakers: "LETS GET READY REEEADY TO RRRRRRUMMBLE!!!!" The crowd cheers. And the games go on.

Ah finally, a conclusion to this bloody way, i’m sure this won’t happen a second or a third time. No way they’d have a Fourth war if they did. The inner sphere is at peace!!

The 2nd war was inevitable since the first didn't really end in any kind of resolution beyond everybody being too exhausted to keep on fighting. As soon as the Successor States had rebuilt their forces enough to invade their neighbors again, the war resumed (of course, ComStar didn't exactly help matters).

For all that the Lyrans have suffered, I'd argue that they were perhaps the only ones that actually could call the 1st succession war a real victory. cases could be made for the FWL and FedSuns but their victories were much more mixed. Honestly this series has given me newfound respect for the Lyrans.

Where is the animation/music that plays during the premiere of the videos from? It does an amazing job hyping the videos and the few that I miss the premier and watch later without it are never quite as hype.

It was made for KZfaq. It's just their "Sci-fi countdown." I'm not sure who made the animation or music but it doesn't originate from anything else.

FWL Carrack ships were converted into aerospace carriers. Its too bad they weren't able to better crew ships with fighters cover them.
