A little friendly advice. Always lift up on the bar while adjusting the chain and tightening the nuts. Otherwise the chain will never stay tight.

Most people don't realize that there is a grease hole at the sprocket on the end of the bar. You are supposed to use a little grease gun that fits in the little hole and pump in the grease until it comes out from under the chain, you do it on both sides of the bar.

Dropped a monster gum today. I normally spray the bar end with some wd 40 to keep the end roller running sweet! Nice one mate. 👍 👍🍻

Hi Mate. I just watched another video of a Baumr saw and now they are popping up in my feed! I have had one almost 10 years and it's still going strong. Only complaints are a leaky chain oil reservoir and sticky pull start (fixed by removing clogged sawdust and cleaning). Never adjusted the carb or changed the plug. A few signs of wear - though to be fair mostly caused from sliding around in a ute tray. The chain supplied was surprisingly good and has been replaced in the last few years after buying an inexpensive twin pack on eBay. It starts 3-4 pulls cold and first pull warm. Unbelievably good saw for the money and when mine dies (maybe in another 10 years!) I'll get another.

My dad flogged the guts out of his baumr sx62 MK2 for 2 years wood cutting an it's still running great. So for Chrissy 2019 I got him a new saw to back up for when the old one dies and it was the sx62 MK3. Unfortunately we were quite disappointed as the quality in the plastics went very backwards and it pissed out fuel and oil from rubbish seal caps then to make it worse the on off switch was faulty. The saw ran good otherwise and Edison's sent new caps an a switch to fix it. So far so good but I don't think he will get a good run out of this model like the last one. Maybe we just got a dud being mass produced.

Have you used/reviewed their post hole digger? I am going to buy a post hole digger from Eddisons,in Sydney and I note that they have 3 models of post hole digger,- the 62cc , the 75cc, and,i think a 90cc, and I wonderd which one would be the better buy,especially for rocky ground.

HI. That's a spacer that sits between the main drive and the chain sprocket. 👍👍

Bit disappointed with mine initially, it wouldn't start. Impossible to get the plug out with the supplied spanner. I had to remove the air filter, then when I pulled off the plug connector, a spring fell out of the plug cap and disappeared into the machine. I was fearful that it had fallen into the intake. I had to take the stud out that holds the air filter and the top cover to get a socket on the plug with a breaker bar. I was convinced I was going to break something, it was so tight. It released with a bit of a bang! Spark plug outer electrode was touching the centre electrode so no spark. Luckily I found the spring which turned out to be the connector for the HT lead that hadn't been fitted properly. I was pretty upset about my decision to buy this chinese crap (this one was assembled by a moron) but I have to say, once put back together it started and ran well. Cuts like a good'un! Got glasses, ear defenders and gloves with it. The gloves had cuffs sewn right through so were of no use (pulling the cuffs apart destroyed the gloves) You do get what you pay for and, to be honest, although quality control is poor, it does the job. They've sold over 5000 units so I guess they are bound to have a few problems.

i had one poor poor quality the air filter didn't seal properly it ran for short time then the electrics quit peace of junk

I've had 2 of these now and they are actually really good machines. Agree that most things that come out of China are ummm .. sub standard. 🍻🍻

@@GTARC_au I don't really have a problem with China they can make some good stuff given the budget and the video is also great. It was the description I had issues with, it being comparable to $1500 saws. Stay safe.
