in this video I install my bed frames and have a covid delay of a few weeks as the Kung Flu strikes the family. that pretty well sums up the video, enjoy!

Thank you. It feels a bit like a new lease of life moving forward and that a huge weight has been lifted to know I was one of the lucky ones with mild symptoms. It seems such a lottery though as a friend of the family is fighting for life as we speak in hospital, he is 38, double jabbed and runs marathons. doesn't make any sense.....

@@sirbrian9404 You really know how to rub it in don't you :-) we decided to delay and I managed to convince Easyjet of an FOC change to Tenerife for October. Golf courses aren't as good as Malaga area, but we'll manage. have a great trip.

Still here only got it after four years no vacation, and got it only once, my friends have all had all the jabs and had covit twice or three times one mate had all the jabs about five of them and had covit at least three times , and remember by the time you found out that you had it , you were still going to shops etc , giving it to others.

Hi Recently discovered your conversion vids, almost caught up. I have just bought a relay L4 H3 so will be borrowing some of your ideas, excellent vid on to vapour barrier or not i have been giving it a lot of thought your reasoning seems sound. Do you happen to know the weight of the "skorba beam" . One thing that did concern me was in the hand book it says "On all H3 versions the roof cannot be fitted with a carrying system" page 80, so was concerned about putting solar and vents on the roof, what are your thoughts on this given that you have put solar ect on. Cheeers and keep up the good work

Skorva mid beams are 3.62kg each. On the roof thing, I think they are just covering their asses. why would they install roof rack mounts if the roof is a 'no go' area. I have seen plenty of videos of L4H3 conversions with loads of stuff on the roof, so personally, I would not worry about it. Reality is that the solar panels are very light weight in the big scheme of things as are the maxxfans. good luck with your build.

Hi, great vlog and a great idea to use the Ikea Skorva beams. How did you go about fitting them to the van itself ? It would be very helpful to pick your brains on this. We are just starting our build. 😊

Thanks for your prompt reply. Do you actually show how you fitted the Skorva beams into the horizontal ribs of your van in an earlier video? If not, how did you fit them to the van? Regards Chris

I got the Skorva brackets from Ikea to go with the beams, you can get them from customer service desk. I used rivnuts to fix them to the sides. hope that helps.

I had noticed the delay on the video's. Glad you are all ok. I caught Covid very early on, before there were any vaccines. It was scary. It's like gargling from the moment you go to bed until you get up the next morning. I was like that for about 10 days and short of breath for a month afterwards. A year and a half later I'm still not back to normal. Plus my son caught Covid just after he went back to school in September and then I caught it again.

Oh cripes, twice? I glad you are OK and your son is well? I was hoping that being double jabbed and then getting it would 'super-charge' the antibodies and that would be that. So we all have Omicron to look forward to then....

Because the virus mainly effects the lungs, the same way colds and flue cause chest infections, the Vitamin D helps to fight off the infection and speeds up recovery. The NHS actually uses Vit D to treat pneumonia in hospitals. It's a scientifically proved treatment. You need the Vitamin C to help your body absorb the Vitamin D. The second time I got the virus I bounced back VERY quickly. I've now got my son a chewable Vitamin D & C tablet. I found that info from a British GP that has a YT channel. Search YT for (dr campbell vitamin d)

the skorva beams have dedicated brackets available from ikea, i used rivnuts to fix them to the sides. hope that helps.

Yes, they are called 'Skorva', but you will need to go to customer services for the end brackets and blag you have lost yours in a house move or something.

Please don't take offence, my comment relates to the small number that can and should be vaccinated and for whatever reason choose not to have it, thus putting themselves and others at risk, like premier league footballers for example! They deserve to spend some time in intensive care for their arrogance, not your nephew.

If, for whatever reason, you can't be vaccinated? fair enough and the comment does not apply to you, clearly. If on the other hand you are choosing not to, then you are putting others at risk and that, to my mind is 'bad form' and I'm entitled to my opinion. anyhow, thanks for watching and have a good Christmas.
