i love the books, just listened to all 3 but the show depicts it and adds new things in the best way. i always find it hard to love books more when you only see them from a certain persons pov and not the reality. they did a pretty good job book 2 and 3 showing more liv’s but shows just have so much more room to add and show things

Really belly should really end with jere after what happened in 2nd book . I watched season 1 and then read the books yesterday trust me ending made me hate show the book such a bad ending dude you cannot be so indecisive you cannot be literally hopping. the whole 2nd book and 1st haft of 3rd book is about jeremiah and in the last chapter in the last few lines she end up with conrad. Seriously man what the hell is with the writer felt so disappointed

@@nidhiarya2421 so I only finished rereading book 1 like yesterday (it was meh) but I only have a vague memory of books 2&3. I do remember feeling weird towards Belly's indecisiveness, but book Belly annoys me lmao. From what I remember, I felt that Belly was choosing Jeremiah more because he was open about his feelings for her & Belly wanted that feeling of love and validation that Conrad seemed unable to give her. However, by the 3rd book I definitely felt that her heart was with Conrad and she only wanted to follow through with Jeremiah because 1) he had been her best friend and 2) she felt she had to follow through or she'd end up alone. I am saying all of this on the basis of my terrible memory of the books lol. I think the show did definitely create some new plots and I loved the changes they made, but I'm definitely hoping they'll have other plot points, such as Susannah's cancer, the relationship between the brothers, and Belly's relationship with her family and growing up and facing reality will be more centered rather than just Belly going back and forth between brothers. As of right now though, I adore the show and I'm looking forward to season 2

At least, he has a pretty valid reason because he had bottled up emotions due to his mother's health issues but no reason for Belly to smoke the three guys around. First, it was Cameron, then on/off with Conrad and then with Jeremaih. Even though, she is still young but she is the most confused of the lot. The chemistry between Belly and Conrad is amazing though because of the terrific actors, in season 2 I think they will become close.

Yep... sadly we all know Bonrad is endgame. But I honestly would prefer "Conrad in the books, Jeremiah in the show" as a wise person said. I ship Jeremiah cause he's more open to his feelings unlike Conrad. Also, people are saying the actor for Conrad is REALLY unattractive and I feel bad. If Conrad and Belly are endgame they better give him a happy ending! ♡

My thoughts exactly. I think Conrad is much more of a developed, and mature character than Jeremiah. My guess the younger viewers and readers love Jeremiah because he is fun, warm and attractive outwardly and the boy you want to bring home to mom in so many senses...but I think he still has much growing up to do. That makes Conrad I think much more suitable, dedicated and deeper love for Belly as she grows up herself.

The reason people ship her an Jeremiah is cause Jeremiah is more open abt his feelings. Unlike Conrad, people say he's playing with her feelings. I don't even know who I want to ship belly with. I'm team belly for now!!!
