Amazing how there is absolutely no unnecessary information/ flashy segments or distracting background music. Just the kind of content we need. Loved the recipe, Sir

Not to step on his toes but if it's the slime factor for you, take a look at this video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r52jl5V9tJ2tnJs.html This got me loving okra and it's all about the technique. I do mine at a med-high heat but the trick is to slice it and fry it until all the slime 'strings' are gone. It takes a while. His way looks like there may be a little left inside and if it really gets to you, that's not the kind of surprise you want. Done like this there really is zero slime. Honestly, it has a popcorn kind of vibe. I double the recipe because half of it doesn't make it to the table. Anyway, maybe this will help.

I have a suggestion. And usually I won’t suggest this because people would abuse this by over complicating recipes to get people to buy things. But you are genuine person. Please put a link to almost every item you use in your videos so that people can can easily access these ingredients, and you can make a commission on them. I noticed that even your salt and sugar looks different from what I use lol. And of course there are other spices there that I don’t know about or have never seen. Thank you.

Thank you for the suggestiion, I will create.a blogpost on this.

Actually, as an alternate opinion, I prefer the simplicity of this channel, specifically that it doesn't do all the irritating things that other "polished" channels do. I hope it doesn't change 😄🙏 because otherwise it will be like ALL the others. This one stands out because of this ❤

You have made a very small batch of okra,now if v have to make for family then how much more oil do v need to use for frying bhendi,wont it become to oily??
@HappyBellyfishАй бұрын
You will have to increase the quantity of everyingredient in the same ratio. If you are using thrice the amount of okra i have used , increase everything three times. It will not be oily but you will have to use a larger utensil.

Is chickpea flour gram flour
@HappyBellyfishАй бұрын
Yes it is gram flour made from bengal gram or brown chickpeas. But even white chickpea flour will do the job.

Shocked to realize I have almost everything needed for this at home, will try it with a few substitutions. I'll try to update on how frozen okra does. Edit: The curry was nice, the ocra was ... fine. Will need to try with fresh at some point to compare, but it wasn't nearly as slimy as I expected.
@rajib8231Ай бұрын
The frozen ones you get in US stores can not stand near the fresh ones from Indian market. Anyway try atleast to buy fresh ones from local farms.

Why can't you use coconut oil here? Thanks in advance.
@HappyBellyfish23 күн бұрын
It stands out in flavor , so I prefer not to use it. It could be because I am used to the unrefined coconut oil that has a very strong aroma.
