There are people out there who have full or part time jobs, raising a family, and attend college on line or in person who survive. The Cowboys are the main draw to the game, not the cheerleaders. Without the Cowboys, there would be no DCCs. People seem to think if they pay the girls better, all the problems behind the scenes will go away. Wrong...There is still bullying, health issues, and the toxic environment going on that no amount of money will never get rid of it.

Well one of the biggest purposes for NFL cheerleaders is trying to market the team to fans. The media will ask them questions about the team, how they’re doing. Not only that fans will go up to them during appearances and they’ll talk about the team’s performances and their history. If they answer wrongly, it’s gonna be comedy and marketing dept of the NFL team won’t be laughing. In a nutshell you gotta know what you’re selling or marketing.

Yeah I get it but, those interviews won't happen in their comfort zone or away from an audience. This is great practice and like she said, this may be the deciding factor if the can't choose...and these can actually build character and self confidence because you won't know what to change or improve if you have everyone catering to your *_mental health_*

There is a method to their madness. The reason they ask these questions in front of others' is because interviews don't happen in the privacy of Kelley's office. If you noticed, the last girl said, "it will never happen again" so it lit her fire. I bet she went home and studied. I Googled "why do DCC have to know interview questions" and you'd be surprised at some of the answers, for ex; are cheerleaders allowed to date players? You would think the #1 reason, would be to alert cheerleaders that they can't date players, but nope, it's to alert players that the cheerleaders are aware that they can't date one of them. So Kelly and Judy will purposely make an example of you, so it sparks a fire in you, to go home and study.

The bit I don’t get from watching this video is, if this truly was there dream to become a DCC then surely they should know everything about the organisation. Especially if you knew you were doing media training. Because if this was my dream I would know every players name their position, the coaches name the old coaches name, the people in the organisation that are dead just in case they commemorate their life. It’s kinda ridiculous. And it doesn’t help the fact that especially men just look at them as a sex symbol for the organisation and girls who are dumb and a bit of airheads don’t help that stereotype.

Still think there should be a day or two set aside to teach (for no better word) the ladies to getting used to speaking in TV and media interviews; I would be that very few of the candidates, prior to this, ever had to do televised or media interviews at all-whether they are dancers, dance team members, cheerleaders, etc. prior to this.

Wtf what woman doesn't know about metoo?! I try so hard to not think of them as stupid but... Common they fulfill every stereotype
@TheKatiebugsTTV

So just because we're women we should automatically know what the me too movement is? Besides the movement is losing its wind due to the Amber Heard fiasco. Making a lying husband abuser a spoke person for your movement kind of belittles the actual purpose behind the movement. And should it just be for women? I mean Brendan Fraser was sexually harassed by a dude. And where exactly do we draw the line considering now the idea of consent has become subjective? I mean you have colleges telling female students that they can take back consent if they regret it even if the act was initially consensual. Isn't that unfair? Isn't that a lie? The me too movement started out as a positive outreach but due to people taking it a little too far the movement has lost its steam and is slowly losing its meaning. So maybe knowing exactly what the movement is isn't too necessary anymore. And some people don't follow politics or social media that much because it can be quite toxic. It doesn't make them stupid if they'd rather just avoid the toxicity.

At the ending it kinda got me mad I understand that there representing the cowboys but at the same time they are dancers and cheerleaders they should be judged on there technique and dancing not questions like this on the spot. If it was really important that they knew these answers to the questions that they had TELL THEM TO STUDY. DO NOT put them on the spot on tv and make them look stupid. That makes you look stupid instead of them. These girls have a dream to dance and to perform not to be criticize because you decided one day to call them out.

Using it to advance your career... Not a bad idea. Actually if you google “What DCC make per year” it’s hardly any pay at all. It’s shocking actually. So this girl probably should become a broadcast journalist that way she can have a real paying job & pay her bills. After their costs they hardly make anything.
@ranelgallardo7031
@ranelgallardo7031 4 жыл бұрын
FoxyStealth Well it doesn’t help that it’s hard to get a job in broadcasting nowadays, having a job like an NFL cheerleader where you’re under the spotlight and exposed to so many people could help be a leg up. However she was brutally honest and that killed her chances

Random Thought Um no. Not for the kind of job she’s going for. NFL cheerleaders were getting a lot of scrutiny from the Me Too Movement, and they gotta defend their line of work to certain people who think it’s degrading to women.
