Nick Shabazz reviewed this on his KZfaq channel. He had installation instructions included with his. You do make a good point about the extra cost for the stones. The CBN are premium and could easily double the cost of the system.

It looks like a good sharpening system. I liked your comment just after 3:40 minutes into this video about it being one of those videos you hope you don't cut yourself. I know exactly how your feel. I taught a knife safety course a group of Girl Scouts at an encampment they had. I was hoping I did not cut myself. It would have been minor, BUT would have been very embarrassing, considering the topic. LOL.

A little advice from an old knife maker. Always keep a bit of good quality super glue product around. Once the bleeding stops from a "minor' cut, it seal the nerve endings, and seals the cut. Re-apply for three days or whenever water causes it to open. All pain will instantly stop and no opening for infection as the cut is sealed. We carried it on board flights in the USAF for emergency instant suchers. KnifeMaker

Harley, you knives could cut a lot better and cleaner if the micro teeth imparted to the edge were set up for actual use. I see you sharpen in a way that makes the tooth edge set up for push cuts where the tip is starting the cut and ends at the ricasso. However other than some kitchen uses, this is not how we use a knife. I also saw the edge struggling in the paper cut. Try this. If sharpening edge first, start at the ricasso and draw the stone up toward the spine while running it to the tip. If edge following, start at the tip and draw the stone down away from the spine ending at the ricasso. This will set the micro teeth angling toward the ricasso and will add a huge amount of cutting ability in the way we usually use a knife as you did in the paper cut. From Ricasso to tip. ;
