To be fair, as a muslim I would have preferred to have Kate elected even though she is a non-muslim as our alliance is with the Deen of Islam and its values, not people. Her stance was closer to Islam than Hamza Yousaf.

Kate got 48% of the final vote versus 52% for Humza Yousuf. If you look up Moh. Hijab, he referenced where even Jacob Rees Mogg said in a morning interview that he's a strong Catholic follower and believes LGBT is wrong.... So Humza is wrong and is a sell out...

Crap take. As someone who grew up in Glasgow and has seen this guy participate in community works. For years we’ve seen him have the best interest of Muslims. We know his family they’re respectable and practicing family. At least we have a person who is our own there. I know deep down he doesn’t believe what he’s said. He’s not advocating the changing of scripture. But to prefer a women who doesn’t believe in Allah and his messenger. You lot are crack pots. I’ve heard him say to support the minority, you have to support all minority groups. If that’s his methodology fair enough. You don’t have to agree with it I don’t. @@ambeggingforwifi4797 Jacob Reese Mogg is a traditional Conservative. He was elected based on these views (he is also not the leader of the party). Humza is the leader of a party that is to the left of the Conservatives, so he has to tow the party line or resign as leader. That's why I don't recommend Muslims to go into politics.

I'm an American Revert, and here we are on this massive downward spiral. The speed that things are going here is mind-blowing. I took a class in philosophy last year, and the professor was pushing this homosexual movement really hard. He had this hatred for Islam, and I mean HATRED. It was really awkward. What I had noticed, is that morality in this world constantly changes in the non Muslim world. The Muslim community is really effected by what the majority of the world follows. It makes it extremely difficult to make friends. I noticed in my around 15 years of being Muslim, the only brothers I can comfortably associate with are the brothers who engage in dawah. We all have the same views to the T. And alhamdulilah I feel Allah has brought us all together. During the covid pandemic, almost all the masjids where closed down, and even when they were reopened there were all these crazy restrictions on the spacing, the masks, the number of people that could be there at the same time. However me and my dawah brothers never missed a good proper salah at the masjid. We had secret masjids from PA, NJ, to NYC alhamdulilah. Allah immediately gave us access to these masjids. Be kind ro everyone, but stick with the dawah brothers. We are all we have alhamdulilah

Apostasy ('ridda') refers to renouncing or abandoning one's faith in Islam. While there is a general rule: "disagreeing with or misinterpreting specific Ayats may not necessarily be classified as Apostasy." However, someone openly rejects or denies the clear teachings of the Quran and Hadith (for example, when the *Quran says lgbt is a tremendous sin done by transgressing people,* 7:80-1, and a person says, *"no, it is not a sin").* In that case, this rejection leads to a denial of the basic principles of Islam (denying the Quran itself), which is considered an *Apostasy* (many fatwas are available online to support this view). Obviously, we are not fond of those influencers (/politicians) who tarnish the teaching of the Quran for personal gain. A Muslim should not give in to his faith when becoming a doctor, engineer, accountant or a politician. Muslim must protect his eeman and tell what he believes sincerely. Otherwise, they are called hypocrites by Allah. *Sin* and *Scripture* are not the terminologies of politics, but rather of religion i.e. Islam, Christianity or Jewish. To follow other's argument, the correct terminologies should have been *crime* or *legislation*. That is not the case here. Neither did yusuf decline the questions clarifying that he is not a priest or imam and this is not a church or an Islamic statee yusuf is not a priest and neither does he hold any position of a judge or infact any authority to change the law. So yusuf responded to the clear-cut question about whether *gay-marriage is a sin* as *NO, it is not a sin, representing his personal faith i.e.Islam.* This is considered as a clear Apostasy, going against Ayats, Hadiths and Fatwas. The reason for commenting here is not to punish yusuf. The intention here is to make all Muslims aware of how easy it is for anyone to fall into a trap of becoming a Munafiq (hypocrite), even if they avoid the punishment of this life the next life rewards await them. Secondly, *every Muslim must respond (with one of the three actions) whenever they see, hear or encounter zulm and wrong-doing.* Interestingly, Prophet Lut's wife (and a few other conservative part-time believers) decided not to take any action on matters of lgbt (one of the three, to avoid evil with hand, tongue or heart), they were all stoned to death and the city turned upside down, Astaghfirullah. We will all be accountable for our every action on Judgment Day. We were presented with a scenario and we willingly followed Ayats, Hadiths and Fatwas. Doing ijtihad is allowed in Islam. If anyone believes they have sufficient knowledge to stand up and argue in front of Allah for an alternate interpretation on Judgment Day, then it is their born right to do so. We will surely stick to what we have understood so far (5:44), Inshaa'Allah JazakAllah khair

In the interest of fairness, I think Sh Ruzwan's position has been misrepresented here. His point was on the matter of takfir, that it is the job of a qadi/mufti and then he explained some of the thought process which would go behind ex-communiting someone. He never defended Hamza, especially not on his policies. When he mentioned that Hamza is from a prominent practicing family in Glasgow, he did so to set the context, the point being that Hamza isn't ignorant to what Islam says on these issues (which makes his actions all the more disappointing) in the interview clip Sh Ruzwan explains Hamza's thought process behind his policies which is that he believes in order to secure the rights of Muslims we have to defend the rights of all minorities. Sh Ruzwan says in the video himself that he completely disagrees with this idea and it has proven to be damaging. He said that eventually that minority group will not stop until they have attacked Islam too, he never defended Hamza, in fact he made it pretty clear that he disagrees with what Hamza has done. Sh Amer also made it clear in his article that he does not wish to defend Hamza and even praised Kate Forbes, again the only thing he wanted to highlight was the issue of takfir.

It’s just mind blowing to see how Irjaa has spread among people claiming to be Muslims. From the quotes of the Salaf (specifically Ibrahim Al-Nakha‘iy): “…The Murjiah left the religion thinner than a lucent garment”. Irjaa is the belief that deed or word or both don’t effect the Eman (faith) of someone and he won’t be excommunicated from Islam by an act of disbelief or a word of disbelief or both. The Murjiah are those who adopted Irjaa as part of their set of beliefs. Irjaa as you might guess has stages. The first Irjaa to have been appeared among Muslims is the Irjaa of believing that deed doesn’t have an impact on Eman. It appeared with Hammad Bin Abi Suleyman who was the teacher of Abu Hanifa, the famous Imam of one of the four Madhahib. Extremer forms of Irjaa occurred soon after. The most disgusting form of Irjaa is the Irjaa of our time. People refuse to excommunicate the most disgusting apostates. But those very people will excommunicate individuals who’ve been accused of misogyny.
@theversifier
@theversifier Жыл бұрын
Brother, your comment requires clarification. Whilst you’ve noted a historical point, it gives the impression that Hammad bin Abi Sulayman and Abu Hanifah were from a deviant sect which is not accurate. The accusations of Irja’ towards Hammad ibn Abi Sulayman and Abu Hanifah were from 1. The Khawarij, Mu’tazilah and Qadariyyah due to their opposition of these two deviant sects: they labelled all their opponents as murji’ah (see al-Milan wa’l-Nihal of al-Shahrastani), and 2. The muhaddithun who considered actions (amal) to be a part of faith (iman) whereas others considered them to be separate but warranting reward and punishment, thus the muhaddithun considered those who disagree with them as murji’ah but this was a semantic disagreement and there is no consensus on what is the correct position on this either way, it is distinct from the irja’ that takes one out of the Sunnah (see al-Raf wa’l-Takmil of al-Laknawi)

Also it is true that imam Abu Hanifah (may Allah have mercy on him) was from the murjiah al fuqaha, and he believed actions were not a part of iman. However, this does not break the Ijmaa on iman consisting of belief in the heart, words on the tongue, and actions from the limbs, nor does it decrease from Abu Hanifah, as he is not infallible just like everyone else. Assalamualaikum jazakallahukhair for your videos - I don't always understand what's going on politically, and it really helps to have your videos help me understand. One reason homosexuality grows as a movement, is that so many men have given up the fitra of a man - the beard - that they imitate women with a clean face. If there is, then can someone please let me know? This is one of the most affective ways I see the rights of people of faith being respected in on this topic.

Some Muslims are so happy to see a Pakistani Muslim in position of authority and it's clouding their judgement. Pakistan is very proud, I get that, but he only achieved this through compromising his own morals. On a secular level, HY does not represent Muslims, on a religious level, he does not represent us either. Treat him as such.

What Hijab says is plain and blunt truth. You may not like it but I would like his approach to meet fire with fire instead of softening things. Br Hamza has gone soft over the years and we know that its because of spiritual reasons. Previously he was as fierce as Hijab is. Dilly is also someone like Hijab with less firepower. So yeah, if you do not like the truth, go listen to the likes of Yaqeen institute speakers and Yasir Qadhis. Sapience is where we follow traditional Islam and that has assertiveness as a key feature

even from 6-7 years back. I've always been one of the few Muslims that have opposed Leftist/Liberal ideologies and would vote conservative politically. But many would shame that position using rhetoric like (the right hates minorities, the right is racist, they hate the poor and love the rich, etc). Not that I agree with conservative or the right but people have ignored for far too long the insidious beliefs, policies of the leftists/liberals under the guise of tolerance which have gone under the radar which are destructive to the Muslim community. Believe it or not, even liberals adopt these same rhetoric that we believe conservatives have, just in a more sneaky and discrete way. I can deal with a bit of "racism" as many would put it and would rather deal with it if it meant having the freedom to practice religion. The end game of leftist and liberal agenda will be to jail religious leaders, common people, shut down places of worship for holding views that are thousands of years old. This is way more dangerous. Muslims have been used as political pawns by the left and once LGBT have came into the picture, they have been cast aside. Liberalism, feminism, LGBTQ, all of these being pushed hard by liberals DESTROY and take people away from the fold of Islam. It may not be immediately apparent but when you adopt these views, you cannot reasonably defend Islam so you develop a sort of cognitive dissonance where you start to have doubts about Islam because it isn't compatible with a modernist worldview. I too would rather vote for a CHRISTIAN WOMAN that held christian beliefs such as homosexuality is a sin rather than a MUSLIM MAN who wants to push this agenda on people. This is why we can't get caught up in the "first Muslim this, or first Muslim that". The question you have to ask yourself is that do they represent Islam with dignity or are they propped up by non-Muslims in a way to liberalize the Muslim community.

I am a Christian and I can't believe how far this country has changed morally. It is clear that there are bullying people in the Blob who are seeking to reduce all religious observance to sentimentality and they mean business. It has accelerated since lockdown and I believe the End is significantly closer. May we recognise and be recognised by the Messiah when He appears in His glory for His own.
