Bfree user of 7 cycles here. I think the cup is fine, but its design on the website is overhyped. They didn't reinvent the wheel. They just made it smoother and then added some different shaped bumps. The seal doesn't break from squeezing the "petals" at the bottom like they say, and the rim is quiite firm because it's so thick. Definitely go for the 2 pack and choose 2 sizes or the same cup in a regular and a firm if you so desire. I like that the company donates cups and education to girls *and boys* in less privileged countries. I wish their emphasis was more on that than how revolutionary this cup is (it's not.) Tbh I chose it because it's made in Canada and so am I.

Thanks to this channel I was able to finally switch to using a menstrual cup. Not to sound like everyone else, but why did I not do it sooner?? Absolutely life changing after a bit of practice. Thank you for all the great work you do on this channel💜

@@PutACupInIt thank you. It was definitely not a smooth journey. The first time I put a cup in it I couldn't get it out for hours. Tears and what not. Even my boyfriend watched videos on how to get it out 😂

I am trying this disc currently. I love the little tab. It's helpful for inserting/positioning as well as removal. The Lumma M & Cora have worked best for me. -Amanda

Tried it and the top was like a circular squeegee shearing off tissue when I took it out . And I couldn't get it to open. Went back to my old standard lunette

It sounds like you may have gotten a size larger than you needed. If you still have if I would definitely reach out to the company to troubleshoot. They mention on their site that they want to help you make it work, even if that means sending a different size.

I have a low cervix heavy period, so I bought a large cut the ball and shaved down the ridges lol love it. No holes and super soft, no spills over night!!

I was hoping cups would work for me. A standard 30 mL cups would leak in about 2 hours or less during my first two or 3 days. I considered buying a Super Jenny, but the cost is just to much to buy and ship to me. Love the idea of not having to boil this cup though!

Sorry to hear that. I know your feel. My shower looks like a sla......hall when I am on my period and already had one of those cup leaking accidents at the public pool. 🙈 I just deal with going to the rest rooms and change more often. That‘s all we can do. Sometimes going on the anti-baby pill makes periods go less bad. If that is an option...

@@aikohikari6587 thanks for your kind words of advice. I can't take the pill anymore unfortunately. I've recently discovered utra tampax tampons that seem a little better lasting than the super plus ones. Mostly I just rely on super long overnight pads if I'm going to sleep or if I'm going to be far from a bathroom. Thanks again for your concern and helpful tips. Take care.

Maybe you can try menstrual discs. They are more involved than cups, but they have greater capacity. Plus you can dump them without removing them. (Search for autodumping menstrual discs for a better idea.)

Omg why is no one else talking about this cup? It is expensive but it’s my first cup and omg it’s amazing. It’s hydrophobic and you can boil it it will not mess with the cup. I think there should be more videos on this. I think I saw it on a Snapchat video a couple years ago. And for me housing has been iffy with me the past two years. And omg this is going to be a life changer and it’s made by women!!

Just look at the website and bfree want forty dollars, which way more then I can afford for I menstrual cup that I have no clue if I be able to use. Try blossom menstrual cup and could not even get in past the rim.

Yes! Many people do (I do). The cup just needs to be below the opening of the cervix to catch the blood. For a tilted cervix, just make sure you don't accidentally place the cup to the side of the cervix.

Are these cups suitable for virgins or 1st time users?? I have low cervix, virgin and I am gonna use menstrual cups for the first time. Are these cups have the softer version because I am worried about being uncomfortable or getting hurt if the cup would be firm😭 And also, is this cup soft enough to not causing any trouble while peeing? I mean, can I pee freely or easily while using this cup? And Can I poop without being worried in squatty potty position??

The silicone is treated to be incredibly slick/smooth to prohibit the formation of biofilm, and they designed it without crevices for bacteria to grow. They have more info on their website. It's pretty cool.

I also don't really believe it and boiling my cup once a month doesn't bother me enough to look for "antibacterial" cup :D

@@annab.3952 exactly. Doesn’t make sense to me that something can be so smooth bacteria just doesn’t stick. Plenty of surfaces or extremely smooth like that, and still grow bacteria

I have been using bfree cups for 6 or 7 months now. The hollow ball does collect fluid and I need to use a qtip sometimes to clean it. During my period I sometimes reinsert it after dumping without rinsing. No problems. I might have used soap to wash it a few times, but I just make sure to rinse it well and dry it before putting it away. If I can wash my hands after getting them all bloody, I can rinse the cup too. I don't have running water either. I don't believe that just wiping it is great. (Wipe with what? Paper that will leave fibers behind, or a cloth that will need washing?) I also don't believe it's necessary to boil a cup to sanitize it every month if it's cleaned well.

@@ginaslevinsky8906 my worry is just they say it doesn’t need any cleaning ever. It just seems really concerning. I think it’s because I just don’t understand how something could be so slick and non porus that it doesn’t allow bacterial growth.

У меня самая маленькая чаша и она мне все равно большая. Вредно что чаша засасывает шейку матки? Чаша надевается на шейку матки и меня это пугает, может в дальнейшем спровоцировать выпадение матки (в старости) меня это пугает и не даёт покоя 😮

Why am I even here? My mamaw won't let me have a menstrual cup. Whenever I ask her, she just starts fussing at me then she tells all of our family members that visit our house that I'm stupid for wanting one
