I used the GoPro HERO 9 Black's TimeWarp 3.0 feature to capture a recent bike ride in Kent Island, Maryland. The Cross Island Trail is 6.5 miles long and spans east to west from Terrapin Park to the Chesapeake Heritage and Visitor Center. Most of the trail is paved, but there are a couple of wooden bridge sections (as well as a gravel section near the end).
I started my ride at a parking lot next to Long Point Park. I got there relatively early in the morning, but be aware (at least at the parking lot I found) there are only a handful of parking spots. From Long Point Park, I traveled west and eventually reached Terrapin Park. This is where the trail ends, but there is a gravel section you can continue on that takes you through marshland and to a small beach that has great views of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
Out and back this trail comes out to 13 miles. After I did this trail, I drove down to the South Island Trail that is located nearby and will upload a video of that ride in the future. Technically you can ride the Cross Island Trail and South Island Trail in one shot, but that involves ~1.5 miles of road riding (with traffic) that I didn't want to tackle.
