I then lived in Dublin in my twenties before meeting an English girl and marrying her and now live in UK but do miss Eire 👍👍cheers Paul

I used to love catching pollack mostly from piers and jetties - but not had one this century! The piers are long gone 😦😦😦 My biggest mack was 2lb 2oz - 4 × the average and what a fight. Thought it was a bass!

Love the videos just subbed 😎gotta love Norway I fished the Trondheim fjord a few year ago from skarnsundet what a awesome place to fish on my second night I caught a 29lb 12oz kelp cod my personal best and still never beat it to this day 😎

I bet you would enjoy fishing the outer banks of North Carolina near Cape Hatteras. Surf casters dream land there. Big red drum using your same tackle just different rigs.

I’ve seen hairs used in carp angling never seen somebody use one in sea and it work! I’m going to try it out on sat down at chesil beach I’ll make a short video of it. Can I use mono to make the hair? I just don’t use braid.. also when I clip my pulley rig to my brakeaway lead would I be alright clipping the hair hook to the led?

@@Billyfishing_watch thanks Billy anyway not just cod like here on the umpqua river we fish much differently in the summer as the water warms does the water temp stay pretty much cold all year long ? Of course I realize you live in a colder region but just wondered iffin there was a small window of warmer water in your summer to throw moving lures like crankbaits anyway take care Billy boy gods speed 2 you and yours oh I live in a small town along the river called roseburg here in Oregon

In Ireland and the UK, the catshark family is referred to as dog fish generally, but a biologist would call the catsharks , yes I do agree 👍😁👌

You did all wrong when put fish back to sea. Never put them on the ground, if not water there. Never grab a fish with dry hands...Other wise im happy to see you bring it back..
