@@H.K.5 bullshit. a bullet from that gun travels about 300m/sec. if you somehow got your head to spin that fast, you would twist your head of your body. the eyes would fly out and your brain would be scrambled.

the slow mo consistency makes no sense, he can move fast enough to stop a bullet, yet the guy has time to put on a crown. If he can travel faster than a bullet, the guy with the gun wouldn't even have time to react if he went after him.

@@akamai4275 what, why would his focus matter? Ones conciseness or the ability's to focus it does not affect speed or time. If the bullet leaves the gun at moment 0 and Adam moves to catch it, given the speed of your average 9mm moves at 818.18 mph or 365.7592 m/s. The distance between the kid and the gun is lets say 10 meters away (its probably closer to 3 meters away but lets be nice and go with 10) meaning that it will take the bullet ~0.02734 seconds to make contact with the kid. Do you really believe that the man can even drop the gun let alone lift his hand with the crown in ~0.02734? I don't believe this is within reason so its just bad cinematography.

See this and remember the quicksilver scene (xmen days of future past) in the pentagon, how the bullets moved with respect to the shooter and victim, then there is this movie that between the bullet leaving the gun and reaching the child, the other guy dropped the gun and put the crown in his head and the other guy turned his head at the speed of the bullet.

I think its more that Black Adam has trouble controlling his anger. He stopped the bullet then went into a rage. The kid survived thanks to Doctor Fate putting a shield around him

@@TheGreatCalsby This. Black Adam has rage issues, especially when it comes to hurting kids. He saw a kid in danger, flipped out. It's not a choice he made, it's an automatic response. Moment he calms down, he even acknowledges it.

Why are so many ppl whining about the speed of the other characters in this shot? Adam got the bullet before everyone else had time to fully react, and everyone else did their actions as Adam was charging his rage-blast thing. Go back to the scene where Adam killed Akton and blew up the Kandaq palace; he took a few seconds to do the exact same move, so it's not totally unreasonable that Ismael could put the crown on, & Amon turned his head, & the Justice Society ppl rushed to cover the bystanders in those few seconds of Adam charging. Amon's mom was still reacting to the gunshot when Hawkman covered her, and Cyclone was idly looking up.

See the Quicksilver scene in X-Men: DoFP for an example of how to do a bullet-time scene properly. Not this silly dogsh@t.

@@rustychassis You realize that hardly any bullet-time sequences make sense, right? In DoFP, Quicksilver did everything before the fired bullets could land maybe 30 feet away from the gun. In a fraction of that time, he threw a plate at a guard, made 2 guards hit each other, tapped one guard on his face, and made another guard punch himself. A bullet barely weighs more than 4 pennies, but bcuz of their speed, they're dangerous, even fatal, when they hit. Those guards should've been ripped apart by their own fist, the plate, etc. Everything they were hit with weighed much more than a bullet, and were accelerated to faster than a bullet (since it all went down b4 their bullets could make it halfway thru the room, much less land). That scene may have been more realistic than Black Adam, with ppl being frozen while Quicksilver zipped around the room, but it was severely less realistic with the ramifications of physical trauma that happened in the scene.

He threw (or grabbed & carried) a bunch of ppl several yards away from the X-mansion before the explosion could expand into their area of the house. All the ppl he "rescued" should be badly injured (or dead) from the extreme acceleration & G-force Quicksilver put on them all.

alot of scenes outside the cgi/fighting was shot like early day Netflix series TV shows, not even up to Hollywood style standards anymore. Its like the cameras get better with technology and the scenes become less authentic, yet the cgi becomes increasingly more convincing at seaming together fiction with the actual actors. Sprinkle in some horrible writing, goofy one liners and things that just dont make sense like this, then youve successfully produced an over budget flop

What I hated about this scene is that black adam could've easily the smashed the stone wall around that inpenitrable shield and rescued that kid (forgot his name) before that bad guy(also forgot his name) had time to even react

Feels a bit awkward when the "big villain" is noobishly waving a pistol with his finger on the trigger and even points it near his face for emphasis during his monologue. Like there's this incredible cgi, but the acting is high school level.

I thought this scene was actually visually striking of course I noticed how comic it was I guess I would say because all in all I liked it. I just feel like they could’ve utilized Black Adams character and Dwayne Johnson’s acting skills in a better way.🤷♀️ but I really did like the movie. 😈🥵

My bro can drop the gun and wear the crown with both hand before the bullet hit the kid lmao. It’s either an extremely slow bullet or bro is flash in disguise. Also why tf would black adam try to save the kid if he has the intention to blow up the entire place with that kid near him lmao

Although the scene is dumb, it is explained in the movie why he blew up, it wasn't on purpose. He didn't hv full control over his rage and powers, it was kind of a flaw that he was struggling with, so he unintentionally blew up after the guy shoots at the kid he had a soft spot for. Dr. Fate helps him overcome this flaw towards the end of the movie and he's able to hv a better cntrl over his powers.

Whoever does the slow mo has 0 understanding of what they are doing. How is he turning his head as fast as a bullet travels? He should barely have blinked
