You should know, none of them from poor family background,. So if they give up back then on the trainee days, it not like they will lose everything in their life. But they choose to perseverance on hardships training days, that show how they're not spoil brat as rich kids.

This is why I stan all members. They are genuine towards each other and since I discovered them last spring and have watched almost all their appearances, never had I once felt any animosity or conflicting tension between them. And it's funny to see how each members act differently towards each other. Like Jennie being playfully savage to Lisa but so soft and caring to Rosé

Lisa and Rosé / Jisoo and Jennie are probably the closest "couples" in BP. BUT they are all have a special bond with eachother. I also would add Jisoo and Lisa in here. Jisoo really takes special care of lisa. Since lisa is far from her family, Jisoos family kinda "adopted" Lisa and she stays at Jisoos(family) home alot. Jisoo told us how Lisa can basically walk in and out her families home whenever she wants and make herself at home. its really wholesome. But jisoo is kinda like that with all the members. she is so incredible unselfish its almost heartbreaking. I think their truely genuine bond is probably the biggest reason why their fandom became so huge.

I can say Blackpink is one of the Kpop group that members are closest to all each other I've ever seen. Their sisterhood are incredible. They are like real sisters. As a Blink I'm so happy having all of them together and be like this, humble, adorable, quirky, funny.

I think the question "is it worth it?" or "do you regret it?" was something jisoo answered in 24/365 or their Netflix documentary. She said, she regrets it a bit cause they struggled so much, she wanted to stop and not continue it because of how hard it is... But yeah I'm glad she stayed.

I agree with you. They genuinely care for blinks and also for each other. It's the first time I saw this video and I'm so happy that I watch it with you. It's so beautiful to see that even though they're one of the most successful kpop groups they're so humble and real.

I love how genuine their relationships with each other are. Some people doubt this but you just have to think of the fact that their families are also now friends with each other. Jennie went on a vacation with Jisoo’s family; Lisa is always with Jisoo’s family when she can’t go home for the holidays; Jennie and her mom went to Thailand for a vacation with Lisa and her mom; Lisa went on a vacation with Rosé’s family; Lisa spends time with Rosé and her sister as well. All of them and their families were invited to Jisoo’s brother’s wedding. Lisa’s parents flew in from Thailand and Rosé’s dad flew in from Australia. They call Lisa’s and Rosé’s mom as “Mom”; and their parents treat the girls as their own daughters. That’s a type of relationship you don’t normally see in kpop groups.

Lisa has answered your question on Youth With You when she was talking to the trainees she was mentoring about being a trainee. She mentioned many of her struggles there such as feeling homesick, not being able to communicate with anyone, practicing until 3-4 AM everyday, dealing with injuries... But she has always said being a trainee is hard but it's worth it and she would do it all over again. But then again, Lisa has been in a dance team since she was a little kid, she was no stranger to competitions and being on stage and practicing for hours even before she joined YG. Rosé had a slightly different answer in her Zach Sang interview for her solo debut - she said trainee Roseanne had a unique inner strength and was determined to debut no matter what, but now as today's Rosé, she doesn't know if she could do it all over again. And that she would like to reconnect to that strength she had in her all along (she went on to discuss the line "everything I need is on the ground" and "ground" as self, staying grounded in your self and inner strength). I can't recall Jennie and Jisoo addressing whether they could do it again or if it was worth it, but I do remember Jisoo saying she thought about giving up but asked herself if she would quit just because it's hard and her answer was obviously no; while Jennie said the tougher she got treated the more determined she became. So I think they all have mixed feelings, but I still believe they would choose to do it all again, Rosé included.

The thing that I respect about them the most is the fact that they all came from wealthy families where usually rich kid are spoiled and spending their parents money and making troubles. But they are the opposite of that. They left their families at a young age build their dreams the hard way and went through a lot of obstacles. But when they are all made it to the top and become one of the most iconic girl group in the world, they are still humble and kind. Blackpink is the revolution.

True, there is a lot of marketing and "propaganda" type stuff in the kpop industry. But just like any other product in the world, some just sell themselves and don't require much marketing. BLACKPINK is one of those products. They sell themselves because of their genuine, unique and high quality. I think YG did a great job initially with marketing BLACKPINK. Whether people like or agree with YG's marketing plans or not, we can't deny that it was extremely successful. From the lack of songs, comebacks and content. But every song, comeback, and content is extreme high quality. This type of marketing would not work for most groups but because BLACKPINK is so special that it works for them.. YG has created BLACKPINK's brand as high end and exclusive, like Lamborghini, Ferrari etc. These brands don't have much marketing at all but everyone knows them and wish they could own one.

I think i need to get this straight. About the whole training years and hardship they went throught. Yes, every idols will go through the training period and some took years before they could debut. And it is HARD. But it is said that being a trainee and YGE and SME are the hardest. Because these companies are huge and debuting from the company will guarantee you success. That's why the companies are very particular and strict with their trainees. Their reputation is at stake. In YGE, the training period includes vocal lesson, dance lesson, rap lesson, acting lesson and language classes. The trainees also need to prepare for their monthly evaluation where sometimes they need to write their own lyrics, construct their own dance choreo, plan the performance concept and produce songs. In YGE, The company supports and gives them everything they may need but it ends at that. Whether a trainee survives or not depends solely on the trainee himself or herself. YGE is known to be providing their tarinees with the best facilities and the best living condition to live in for FREE. They spend millions on these trainees. And they expect the best from them. Every YG stan would know that the trainers are really strict and hard on them because actually they were preparing the trainees for all the hate they probably gonna get once they debuted. So yes, the training system is hard but it is necessary. In debuting in YGE only means that you are worth it and you are talented. Because everyone in the industry knows that YGE artists are chosen for the talent 1st before anything else, unlike other companies who look for visual. If you have the talent, then you have the chance in YGE.

Actually what made me a blink are their personalities and their bonds. Before I watched Blackpink house, I had only been their casual listener who only like their musics. BP house successfuly turned me into a blink and completely in love with them, especially Rosé💓

Stanning Blackpink is not just about 'because they're famous', it takes love and patience. Imagine waiting them for sometimes a year to make a comeback. BP never forced their fandom to bring them to those charts, it's the fandom's way of saying Thank You for giving us comfort. They treat each other as a family so we also treat our fandom as a lil' chaotic family. Their real family also knows each other and are friends with each other. They call each other's parents as mom and dad. They genuinely love each other more than just a member of their group. We are aware that there's no Blackpink forever but as a thank you I'll stay with only JenChuLiChaeng no matter how the future will be. They may not know me but I felt the comfort, peace and happiness when I watch them. And no matter what other people says to our fandom, I'll never ever leave the only fandom who became spears and shields by themselves only for BP in the right way. A lot of other kpop stans says we're toxic (which we can't avoid coz the fandom is still growing) but what we we'll never ever let the '2018' experience of Blackpink and Blinks comeback again. To my fellow Blinks, even our fandom is so chaotic and we Clownation. I love you bijjes from the bottom of my bone marrow. Stay with Blackpink, Stay with Blinks 😘

I actually started watching blackpink house before I start listening to their music. It's literally just very random but through blackpink house i get to know their individual personality before i started listening to their music. So for me as a blink, I can wait for a long long time for a comeback and they can put out any kind of song and I will still be here. My foundation as a blink is made up of my admiration towards them as a person which is why them as blackpink and as musicians is considered as a bonus for me.

Yh, I found out KTL was there song and I became interested in them. Before I dove into their discography, I ended up watching videos about their personality more than anything 😂. It took 3 months into me stanning them to listen to all their songs. I think it tells a lot about their personalities because their discography is rather small, so it's easier to get through...

i genuinely think their beautiful sisterhood and humbleness are one of the biggest reasons why blinks love them so much despite not really releasing music like a normal kpop group (which is not their fault).. like who wouldn't want to idolize these four genuine human beings? and this is why it also makes me happy when people take their time to actually get into them before judging them cause the bp hate train was so bad in 2018-2019 (especially on twitter, oh that's the worst) because that's when they actually blew up all around the world. i don't want to look like i'm overreacting but i really get so emotional when it comes to them, i'm just so proud of how far they've come.

jennie said in the netflix documentary that when she finally was on stage at coachella, all the hard training and practice was worth it. For BP it was worth it, because they achieve their dreams. But for many other that didnt debut i think their story is different. In K-pop you have to be the best of the best or you dont survive. Whatever you think about YG they create legends it wouldnt be Bp without them, but yeah there are many things i dont agree with them, its a hate love relationship.

This never fails to get me feeling all proud and emotional for the girls lol. They've each come such a long way and I couldn't be more proud of how much they achieved and continue to achieve thus far together. Also, the acrobatic one in that one dance clip ("Who is that girl?" was the YT vid YG released predebut) was Lisa! Dance machine, remember? 😂

Though not official Jenni was the only one who spoke English to Lisa nobody else was allowed to it was YG's way to force Lisa into learning the language as fast as possible. Jenni was sort of the un offical teacher just like she is now with Jisoo in her trying to learn and improve her speaking of English. Under stand Jisoo knows English very well it is she was afraid to speak it. This past 2 years she has improved in speaking it and you will also notice that her singing in English has improved very much.

They really are so so humble, like after all they achieved you’d expect them to know how bug they are, but every time they get surprised when you tell them they won this or that award, Lisa didn’t even know she charted 2nd on billboard until a blink told her. It feels like they don’t care about numbers that much, they just want to make music for us to enjoy and I think that’s the best thing about them

You're right, YG's training is the hardest among the big3, SM, JYP and YG. Big3 already have the hardest trainings but YG's is even more ruthless. YG has a very unique way of training their idols. They prepare them for the worst. The emotional aspect of their training is because the kpop industry is largely judgemental and evey action is criticized. If you do not have a strong mental barrier, it's gonna be extremely difficult for you after debut. Every single group of YG, Blackpink, Big bang, 2NE1, Treasure, he grinded their asses with insults, criticisms, redos and what not. So many people think it's harsh but that's what makes them so strong. He berates the leader especially. GD from Bigbang, CL from 2ne1, Hyunsuk and Jihoon from Treasure and Jennie because originally she was supposed to be the leader. Even Lisa because as the first foreign kpop idol, she probably had to fight through stereotypes and racism. Expectations are higher for them. YG is harsh but it prepare them for the worst. Blackpink are probably the most hated and misjudged group by kpop stans. I mean it's basically WW3 in Twitter for blinks (plz never go there) and yet it's doesnt affect them. They've already been warned. What if it was another group in place of them? Receiving this much hate? The leader would've been ripping his hair out thinking what he did wrong. They would be questioning themsleves.

That Jennie speech when she talks about taking care of Lisa was because Lisa was going thru a very very hard and massive hate (racism, xenophobia) because she’s from Thai.. the fans were really worried so she said that to us!

One of the many reasons why I fell in love with these girls is bc of their amazing individual personalities and the kind of bond they share between them. It's like they were meant to cross paths and become this close like a family. And I love it when people not only recognize their talent and their popularity but also their bond and each of the member's personalities. It makes me feel like they're not only liking these amazing girls for their great talents and their status but also bc of how they are as just human beings.

It's interesting how westerners judge things based on western culture standards as if that's the correct and only way to do things. Asian cultures for the most part have always been very strict and disciplined. We are taught since we were born. Respect, honor hard work and discipline is very important. As an Asian American, growing up,, I struggled with the clash of the Asian culture taught at home and the western culture at school. It caused me a lot of trouble and became rebellious. Only when I got older was I able to embrace my Asian culture and find a balance between the two. The kpop training years is not that uncommon if you think about it. Olympic athletes or athletes wanting to achieve professional success adhere to similar strict discipline training. They would be in the gym or wherever practicing 8-10 hours a day and constantly on strict diets and what not. We just never think of it that way. Olympic figure skaters and gymnasts often start training at very young age and besides school, that's pretty much their whole life.

The working hard element is totally fine. I'm Nigerian so it's the same I understand that. Its the emotional part that seems unnecessary. I've gotten into other groups and they all work hard, are away from family etc but the emotional strain BP seem to have been through seems different to me.

@@Yetti. It's difficult to say since there are many factors involved. People react differently and are built differently emotionally and psychologically, therefore we have different opinions and perspectives on things. It's "tough love" to some and "abuse" to others. In the Light Up The Sky documentary, Jennie said that she did not regret going through all those training years and it was worth it even though she was the most outspoken and critical of the harshness she had to go through as a trainee. Btw, YGE has in house psychologists and counselors that their artists and trainees go meet and talk to.

@@Yetti. One more thing to keep in mind, being an idol is not an easy thing mentally especially after debut. All the harsh criticism and hate they receive from "fans" and general public. Their lives are examined under a microscope. Certain groups have to work endlessly with 3 comebacks a year and side work they have to do because the fans demand it. If you are not mentally tough and prepared, it could have disastrous outcomes. It's the sad truth that many idols aren't mentally prepared and end up committing suicide. That's why the training/preparatperiod is important to help the idols be mentally strong for what's to come. It's a sad reality that toxic fan culture exists and high demands and expectations fans place on idols. I wish it wasn't so . Hard work/discipline goes hand in hand with strong mindset and mental toughness. You can't have one without the other. You can't be hard working if you're not mentally tough and just want to give up at the slightest difficulty you run into or just feeling lazy and unmotivated.

This is the video that made me fall in love with them 😭 People just love to hate on them they don't see how humble and loving they're They think they haven't worked hard at all cuz they debuted in a big company If you watch their other show 24/365 with blackpink they talked about their trainee days and how they lived in a house with the walls are cracked and a bunch of bugs , of how they would go do groceries only once a month since they didn't have the money and would mostly eat strawberry jam toast and eggs How they had to train 16 hours everyday with only one day off every 2 weeks And it hurts as a blink seeing all of them kpop stans just discrediting their works cuz they're women + from a big company Sl***shaming them especially jennie and lisa calling them ig models and all that It's really unfair but well what can we do We're just here to love them even more when thousands of others are hating on them

Up until now, you’re still the best Blackpink reactor out here. I always love your reactions and I can see that you genuinely love the girls now. I’m not into kpop before. I know songs from 2nd gen like Super Junior, Girls Gen, 2nei but didnt stan any group. But when I watched Ddu du Ddu du, I instantly became a fan and I dont think I can get out of this Blackpink hole. I will forever love them four equally. Cant wait for more of your reactions. ❤️

They literally survived training by huddling together and hanging on close to each other. It may have even been said either out loud or just between the 4 that they all stay or they all go. This support can be seen in each solo project behind the scenes,... who is there?? Lisa is filming solos,... who is there? Jisoo,.... Rose',....Jennie was the one in the beret (the whole time). Beyond talent, beyond fighting spirit,... you know what the other girls who went home or got cut did NOT have?? 3 of the most talented sisters on sight cheering & supporting their dream. I'm sure they go their separate ways eventually. But we all know they're stronger together, and always have been.

Part of their hard work is learning the language (including Korean honorifics and formal/informal language and of course, Japanese, and also the culture for Lisa and Rosé), not only just singing, rapping, and dancing and doing tons of practicing and rehearsals. I could not just imagine all they went through. All of this during around 14 years of age!

They're very thankful to their fans maybe also because, unlike the other KPOP groups, they only do comebacks once a year (sometimes no comeback in a year like this year). While groups release songs/albums 2, 3 or more times in a year. For a group in the industry, sometimes you have to be consistently present for fans to not forget that you exist. The best thing about Blinks is that, they're are not just fans looking from the outside. Blinks embrace Blackpink (the Pinks).

In the The Movie the one that was released in the theaters you can really tell how much we blinks mean to BLACKPINK esp the part with Lisa where she couldn't even get the words out on how to describe what Blinks mean to her...she just said from her heart that she is so thankful I literally bawled my eyes out when I saw that part...They're so genuinely humble♥ As for Jisoo There is no idol in the kpop world who is like JISOO. Yup they are so humble and genuine when its comes to their fame and their love for Blinks Chaelisa is like two peas in a pod (the trouble twins) they are literally partner in crime. Jensoo has open book sisterhood (they just look each other eyes and they know what to say) Jenlisa is like forbiden fruit (its like you can look but you cant touch) they are also the shop until you drop couple. Chaesoo have mother and daugther relationship, the older act like a mother hen towards the younger while the younger act like a bodyguard towards the older. Lisoo is the crackhead of the group, dont be fool by their smile bc they can screw ur head with their laugh. Chaennie is the hubby and wifey who loves to go on dates, Jennie gave her hubby her point of view whenever she asked it while Rosé always comfort her wifey when she needed it. They conplimented each other very well and always supported each other too in their own way. Just fyi Ezra Miller (The Flash) is a Blink, he so excited when he got BP's EP with their autograph, then he met Rosé at YSL PFW and got pictures with her. I only became Blackpink fan in last 3 months. I know about them, listened to their popular songs but suddenly one night I was bored and thought let's watch some M/V by Blackpink, then I was like wow they're talented, then I got curious and watched BP house, diaries and documentaries. And then I fell in love. mostly same as many comments here, it's because their friendship looks genuine and their bond is unique. They are humble, funny, in addition to being super talented. God, I love them.
