Loved the movie, the actors who played the Bob and Rita did a good job. iExodus is the most important album of the 20th century by Times Magazine.

You won't enjoy it that much. Wrong actor was chosen to play him and it needed to start from his childhood/ to his death but was mostly from 1976 to his death.

I saw it I'm a HUGE Matley fan and thought it was great. I didn't smell weed when I saw it but watching him and his crew smoke I felt like I was getting high. 😅

Same I heard a few songs . I didn't know much about him but I came out loving the movie 10/10 fantastic. The acting was great. the music and I came out as a big fan and can't stop listening to his music now. Favorite movie of 2024 so far

Enjoyed the movie twice, even w its shortcomings. Kingsley Ben-Adir (Bob) and Lashana Lynch (Rita) deserve Oscar Awards for their work. My theater had no smell/scent and everyone we spoke to after enjoyed it also. Remomver this is a movie, NOT a documentary

Trailers made me not want to watch it. My mom really wanted to so I took her on Valentine’s Day, LOVED IT! Yea the accents come on and out between actresses and actors but overall great film

@@Heywoodjablome1964 Agreed. I am not a diehard fan of Bob Marley by any means but I do own all his albums. I've listened to each one of them dozens of times and his music really does paint a tapestry of who the man was and what he stood for. A movie version of Bob Marley, played by someone who doesn't even remotely look or sound like him, is just not a good way to learn about him.

I really enjoyed the movie to be honest. The movie was just what it was supposed to be A Movie. It opens up the door for people to do their own research if you want in depth detail of his real life.

Me and my cousin watched his first performance and gave eachother a look of confused, his first performance felt like the ending with how it was edited. I liked it, kinda wish there was more definitely. Was it “amazing” nah. Just a nice watch

My family are huge Bob Marley fans and this was my mom's biggest complaint. It left out a lot about his life and was a bit too short

To meet the expectations that some have on movies like these we're talking several 6 - 8 hour long films. That is not realistic that anyone would want to do that. The movies gives a look into their lives. And then you read books to learn more.

I loved it because his son approved of it. Hia wife Rita was part of it too. It was 1hr 47 minutes it would have been 3 hrs if all aspects covered DUH. This guys comments are Rude as Hell!

I agree. I know about Bob Marley but I had to explain to my gf what was going on in terms of what happened before & after the events in the movie to fill in the gaps And it smelled like weed when I went too...which is fine bc I had my THC pen

Scared to see this one. Heard its not great. My parents were huge reggae fans. They saw Bob live in like 79 or 80 in Lawrence KS. So grew up on his music

Saw this with my girl. Theater was emptier than they used to be on average but a lot of folks showed up from all walks of life . We came in drunk and high. I had to keep waking myself up towards the end . It was good ..my girl liked it but she said there was one guy behind us snoring loud as sh?! . Lmaoo one remark about the film she said she thought it was supposed to be about his life but it was really about a moment in time when Bob Marley promoted love and peace against all adversity and politics. .

I just saw it today and thought it was meh. While I liked the lead actor’s performance, I ultimately thought the film played things way to safe and only just scratched the surface of Bob’s life. Music was good though.

Womanising is only hinted at,with an argument with his wife.Otherwise,they do it weird: Show an attractive woman a few times,that stares at him, but then she is never seen again. That female character I know is based on a woman he fathered a few kids with.

Didn't like it too much. I met Bob many times in 1977 and 1979 in London.. he used to visit my family home in stockwell . My father was a reggae music producer ... I even saw him playing football in battersea Park..

This movie is far from the truth, it missed alot, it’s not about Bob Marley it’s more about his wife Rita that’s why they released it on Valentine’s Day. Why not his birthday which was February 6? Because Rasta don’t even celebrate Valentine’s so I think it was a disrespect to Bob Marley, also they make him look soft in the Movie and weak, Bob Marley is tough and rough in the streets that is why they nicknamed him Tuff Gong.

I watched it. It is ok. Interesting to note: Bob Marley was a massive womaniser - An attractive female character they showed bits of,the woman that was based on,had an affair with Bob.Including fathering some child with him.
