I think the biggest tip for confidence I can give is to slow everything down. When you slow things down mentally it gives you a sense of control over things where you may have subconsciously felt powerless

If you need to check these tips in the first place, you are doing it wrong. You can cross your legs when you sit, shows confidence and also that you do not give a damn of what other people think. If you over think this and over do it, it shows that you are not confident in the first place. It's all about being good with yourself and putting out the energy that goes with it.

So lets see where to begin ? as taught to me working in "close protection" 1. on entering a room do not immediately head to the centre, step to one side and pause for a moment, analyse the dress and stance of the people in the Room and identify the Power Players, if at a Social Function take a drink and work your way across the room introducing yourself to those who will improve your standing in the Room, as you approach the power players listen to the conversation until you are commented upon or you can interject with comment or question .. at which point you may introduce yourself . 2. Sitting ... sitting "Man spread" is a sign of insecure aggression and low Social Status, where as sitting relaxed with the legs crossed is a sign of openness , confidence and power. 3. Sunglasses ... Wearing Sunglasses on anything other than a sunny day and not removing them in Conversation is a sign of aggression and can be construed as weakness , and if worn indoors should be viewed as suspicious and a sign of hiding something. 4. handshake.... a hand shake is a firm grasp at Waist height , any thing higher is a sign of insecurity 5. a raised chin ... the chin and jaw should be parallel to the floor, any raising higher is an insecure attempt at asserting dominance and should be watched for any signs of trouble .

Remember, this can only work if you are confident. If you lack confidence highly suggest reading any book regarding self-emotion and how to approach your fears. If you are weak-minded. Anything you do will not work. Understand there will be always a better person than you. And it's okay. The whole idea is to go on your own time. Fail and try again until you succeed.

It's nice to know how to look confident. For my confidence comes from a few things. One of them (and not the most important, but I won't tell you my secrets right know) is I know how to fight. And even when a superior screamed at me, in my mind I was thinking: I can take this guy. And I think there was something in my eyes that betrayed that overconfidence that I had that I could jump on the guy and kick his ass :))

This video is quite useful and informative, however, I will like to point out that for people who have dystonia symptoms, such as myself, it might not be as easy to follow these tricks. Gymming or yoga does help to alleviate dystonia if it is done consistently, just as a side note.

Manspreading at the right times can 100% be more attractive and confident looking, but I say as a smaller guy, Crossing my legs, especially depending on the outfit, can make you look more composed, yet again definitely depending on your outfit, wearing chinos or khakis with a tucked button up and nice shoes, maybe try one leg over another when you're idling and noones talking to you, ofc only if you can cross your legs, but if you're wearing something more urban or rural, it could disrupt the energy coming off of the cloth
