What's an adorable wee bird. Amazing he is alive with all that has happened to him. He has high energy, fully amped with all that squeaking! He's protesting, letting you know he's hungry. Awe.... Love the shot of Kettle right up nose to nose with Chris. Wow! Kettle looks great in all his plumage in 2 months. Chris your gifted. I love this show. You all do a wonderful job. The personal touch of this show towards your patients and their owners, is what a lot of practices are missing these days. Hopefully, they will see these shows and incorporate some of this sensitivity training into their practices. Great support staff too. I'm addicted to the show and look for it every night.

I have always loved the perfectly imperfect among companion animals. Without exception I have found they make the most devoted pets. If the animal can function, they just need love, support and a safe place to live. If they struggle through life, they can still thrive with a little extra support and the assistance of a skilled veterinarian. They are all just so special, given half a chance!

In the US we tube feed cleft lip and palate puppies until the are big enough for surgery and then it's only a palate repair. For the most part puppies survive the tube feed and then do well as adults.

@@prcervi You act like it takes a post-grad degree to tube feed. It's not that complicated. What's this nonsense about Vets averse to it? Ridiculous. This is common practice here in the U.S. The Vets will supervise the first feeding and the parents can handle it from there.
