Wierdly enough, the original voice actor for Claptrap (David Eddings) wasn't even invited to voice Claptrap in Borderlands 3 and not in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

Because accordingly to David Eddings in his twitter, Gearbox couldn't afford him, and that´s why he didn´t replayed his roll in the third game and if gearbox is also involved with this visual diarrhea they won´t be able to afford him again. Ironically they can afford all of those celebrities who doesn´t even come close to the characters.

@@khufu8642I don't want to talk bad about a child, but I highly doubt Ariana Greenblatt is going to be able to portray Tiny Tina. Should have just gotten Ashley Burch to portray her, despite their different facial features. It's not like they tried with Roland and Claptrap anyways...

ngl I dont like any of the casting choices of this movie, but especially Kevin hart as Roland (too short, not heroic looking) and Jamie lee curtis as Tannis (she's not old in the games wtf)

Not to mention Roland in the movie is more comedic and less serious as we saw in the trailer. Also in the lore, Roland is supposed to have already passed away when Krieg escaped from the lab, so seeing the both of them together is mindboggling lorewise

No hate towards Jack Black but he is not meant for Claptrap all I can hear is a robotic sounding version of Jack Black. Why not cast the actual voice actor for Claptrap it's not like you will see his face anyways. Jack Black is perfect for Po cause he actually sounds like Po but Claptrap isn't a right choice for him on top of all the other casting choices they made. I love this game and I'm sad that they made these poor casting decisions that will make the movie flop but who knows.

A) Should have been an animated movie (or done like A Scanner Darkly) B) But if it had to be live action...Better Casting: Roland - Terry Crews (without the humor) Tiny Tina - anyone smaller, funnier, who looks like her and sounds like her. Mordecai - First you'd have to be smart enough to put him in the movie. But DJ Qualls could look the part. Tannis - Not an old lady. (I love her, but this was bad casting) Claptrap - David Eddings (Why the F would you use Jack, when the genuine guy only has to voice the character?????)

Y’all remember when Roland knew Tannis when she had grey hair? I don’t either… There are SOO many actors out there…. You can still make a good movie without big names… the cast needs to change, not because they won’t do a good job, but because they are far from what they need to be.

It makes no sense of how Tina looks older and Roland is alive. Roland passed in 2 when Tina was 13. She looks like what she does in 3 which is 19, 6 years after 2. And Roland isn't really meant to be a silly character, but a serious one and they cast a "comedian"

When i first saw the trailer i was like "oh. This actually looks good!" Then i started to think about the characters and the actual story of Borderlands, and realized that this movie is most likely to bomb. Cast is to old and the villian is Atlas... Atlas is a weapon company not a villan/boss..

I have several problems Tannis,Lilith and tiny Tina being older. Tannis and Lilith looked elder then in the games (and not making fun of the actress but that not how the character post to look like.) And why is my girl tiny Tina a teenager!! She post to 8 or 10… And was is Roland played by Kevin heart. But jack black as claptrap is perfect choice. Maybe make his voice high pitch.

If you noticed, Tina supposedly 13 years old in Borderlands 2 while wearing a psycho mask. But she is wearing the rabbit ear, which she wear in Borderlands 3, at the age of 20. They all good actors but my god, who decide to cast them horribly with those roles... I really do wanna know who in charge of the casting.

Jamie could have at least dyed her hair or worn a wig to even look a little like Tannis, Cate clearly knows nothing about the sweet human behind Liliths hardcore exterior, Tina looks alright, jack black!? Whyeee!!??, and could we have not at least gotten a larger or at least more serious Roland. Kevin is funny and all but he makes Roland’s noble character out to be a joke. This is sad all around

To start, not one fits the age of the real characters. Claptrap needs a more synthetic voice actor, like the original. Roland is tiny. Tina is too sane. Lilith shouldn't be an elf. Tannis looks like she was born before Pandora was 'settled'. Moxxi LOOKS right, but I haven't heard her talk yet. And Jack doesn't exist.
