Today I’m not in my usual kitchen, I’m in ACTUAL America! While I was on holiday, I took the chance to scope out the snacks in a real American supermarket for an American snacks taste test. This is filmed using my phone balanced on bananas and a kitchen towel holder!
If you liked this video, check out more of my taste tests in the playlist here: • Taste Testing

I'd love to see you try more of our belly expanding snacks...problem with suggestions is that I don't know what's available in the UK as well as the US (my favorite snack right now is Chicken in a Bisket crackers...my daughter bought me some Angie's Boom Chicken Pop [dark chocolate drizzled kettle corn] which I'm loving too). I'm surprised you liked the Twix...as a long time buyer of chocolate items from a British store in Plymouth MA I know your chocolate is waaaay more tastier than ours...though that dark chocolate drizzled kettle corn is delicious.

Idk if it's something you WANT to try or not, but Spam is MUCH better if you slice and fry it. Flavor gets a bit milder and the texture improves drastically. Goes great on a sandwich. Also tastes great if you cube it up, fry it, and add it to scrambled eggs.

@@mrbarrylewis ok good. fried spam is so much better than eating it cold. The spam with bacon, you can give it a flour dredge and fry it and it's lovely. you dont even need to dip it in egg since its kinda wet, so the flour will cling to it nicely.

I don't know where you shop, but I saw All of these items at my local Walmart just 2 days ago, and most are actually pretty new. OMG I see you went to the Cantina! Me and my wife did Disney World for our honeymoon and went there, it was so cool! Did you guys make lightsabers? We did. Had such a great time, Disney went above and beyond for our honeymoon. Hope you guys had a great time and enjoyed your trip here to Florida.

Here in Minnesota we have the spam museum and it was there that I first had cooked spam. Just fry it in a pan and it tastes a lot different.

Just back home from visiting friends in LA myself, I've come back with some smokehouse flavour almonds, fudge-dipped ritz crackers(!?), sour patch kids and tons of different cheese dip/queso (my obsession.)

I enjoyed the nanner cammer. As a rootin tootin American, the Jalepeno Spam is the only variation featured that I ever heard of, and I only heard of it on the Try channel where some Irish people were trying it.
