Brokers are responsible for the downfall of the industry bc they’re keeping over 40% of the pay from the shippers. FMCSA has showed that TQL was taking like 49%, which is outrageous. So hopefully they all go out of business. The brokers are fighting each other over shippers & lowballing the offers. Then keeping most of it from truckers.

Just finished my 1st year as an owner op , and you’re right. There is no profit, super difficult to pay maintenance, pay the driver , etc. it sucks man

Broker = middle man. Carriers need to sale themselves to these shippers. Only way the broker goes away.

and you think shipper is always customer? do you really think customer have time to set appointments, PO# , make loads? do you think carrier with 50 truck can just reach out and hey i am carrier give me loads, it doesn't function that way, 3PL will always be needed, customer doesn't want to work directly with carrier, only in case they are big like national and must have their own brokerage, it's called logistics services for a reason. Before you build the load they gave you 20 days before it's schedule to go, you have customer service team sending you 50 emails changing PO#, appointments and so on, sometimes you cannot even catch what they are spamming on emails, how many times they are changing delivery place ( warehouse), they let u know in last minute, you must feel both side, dispatcher, carrier rep, customer rep, to know how this business function, it's not that simple give me loads. Singh with 50 FG red flag going to Ferrara and saying hey give me loads, just think about it for a minute.

Shippers wont work directly with trucking company especially if your a 1-15 truck operation 😂

Brokers made a fortune in the last 2-3 years. I wouldn't be worried about them. They'll be just fine :)

"I'm a dispatcher facing a problem. Accepted a load from a broker who said everything was set, but my factoring doesn't work due to their low credit. The broker promises quick pay after delivery, but they seem unreliable. Worried my carrier won't get paid. Need help, please."

The newest thing right now in trucking is ,,,asset carriers!!!! Carriers with 100 trailers and up shows up and wipes out the brokers ,,,no broker can compete I will always outbid the broker!!!! Real trucking is about having shippers not brokers or bartenders

Stvarno pricas gluposti. Ko fol okrenuce se vremena i ti ces i ostali kerieri traziti vise nego sto je realno za load. Glupost to je lafina teska.Uvjek ce ceriieri zavisiti od brokera i to je to . Nisam broker i znam sta pricam Nanervirala me tvoja bajka , kako si je upakovao . To je daleko od istine
